Well made, small carabiner
I wanted the small, extra light weight carabiners, and that’s exactly what I got! They seem well made, and I use them to quick snap clippers to my saddle, so when I’m riding I can get them off quick and cut the branches that try to take my eyeballs out. The colors are nice, sure wish I could have gotten more pink ones though …. wist
Good lightweight carabiner
These small carabiners are just what I needed for attaching dry bags and fishing equipment to my kayak. I could probably come up with 100 more uses in the camp trailer and around the house. Just what I needed.
Works well
Works well for what I need them for. They would probably be better as keychains though. I use them for more of a “heavy duty” job and I had expected them to be bigger than they ended up being but that’s my own fault for not knowing what 2” was. Love the many colors it comes in though. they also come with the round key rings too so I’m guessing that was more of what these were meant for. I probably won’t buy them again once I run out, simply because I need the bigger ones because I use them with my horses and they tend to be rough with equipment.
They work!
It’s clear that many of the negative reviewers may not have read the description of the product. These are small carabiners (2 inches long) and are not meant for climbing or holding extremely heavy objects. I have personally used them to hold keys (they come with keyrings as well), attach a full water bottle to my daypack, hang wet towels to dry while camping. I also used one to connect my backpack’s zippers together as a half-assed attempt to prevent theft while traveling. Bottom line, read the product description carefully and manage your expectations. For the price, this product has a number of uses and seems to be good value.
Very nice carabiners!
Used these to hang outdoor lighting and in addition to the colorful assortment, they work much better and less expensive than the hooks at the home improvement store.
Don’t lose your packable jackets because the fabric loop ripped off!
Great little carbiner for your packable jackets.I purchased these to clip onto my jackets that are packable such as the Patagonia Micro Nano and the Northface rain jacket. I don’t trust the little fabric loop on those jackets fearing that they may rip off while being hung on my backpack. I would hate to lose a $200 jacket. So instead, I’ve attached these carabiners to them and use it to hang onto my travel bag.I’m not sure if they’re capable of handling any weight of more than 20 pounds but for a packable jacket, they are good enough.
Kayak tethering
Made up a bunch of tethers I wanted to be able to connect and disconnect quickly on my fishing kayak. These filled thee need. I wouldn’t use them for mountain climbing but the took care of what I wanted from the. Great price and delivery. I would recommend.
Great price, well made and the size I mostly use
I use carabineers quite a bit and normally I can only find them locally in sets of large to small and if I can find them individually in the size I need, they are quite expensive. These are the size I like for most of my use and the price very good so I decided to try them. I just got them yesterday and I’ve used 6 already making hangers for bow hunting accessories. I got the full 20 count and they also include 20 split rings. I didn’t use the split rings in this application but but I generally use quite a few of them also so that was a pleasant addition. They are well made, open and close easily and securely. Of course I use them only for light duty, not a lot of weight will on any of them, I think I’ll order another 20 just to insure I always have plenty of the right size around.
