Excellent!

I have purchased accessories for my cameras from this company before, and have always been very happy with them. This Vivitar battery and charger kit is no exception. My Nikon P610 didn’t come with a separate battery charger and extra batteries. So, I had to charge the one battery that came with the camera by connecting the camera to a power source using a cable. Now, I can charge the battery separately and have another already fully charged to replace it in the camera. Now, I’m not so limited when out taking pictures, that when a battery runs out of power, I have another to replace it immediately so I can continue to take my pictures.

Bought the batteries for backup but purchase was mainly for charger as I was having some issues with my camera not charging original batteries. Have since exchanged the camera, but still use the external charger for convenience. Highly recommend this product. Getting TWO batteries and a charger for such a low price is what influenced me.

Vivitar EN-EL23 Battery and Charger

This is the second set of batteries and charger that I bought. I liked the first set so much, I bought the second for backup (as well as the fact that I like having 2 chargers for those times that I have used several batteries and want to get them charged quickly). The batteries last almost as long as the name brand. I would recommend these batteries and charger.

What’s not to like. My P900 came without a charger

2 batteries with a charger. What’s not to like. My P900 came without a charger. The battery lasts a long time, but when it goes you are screwed. I was getting ready to go to the top of the Empire State building the 1st. time it went dead. Luckily I found an outlet to charge it. The other time was at a football game SOL. Good deal.

Works Fine and Dandy

Package arrived within a few days of ordering.The batteries and wall charger work good.A note about Lithium batteries: regardless if you use them, charge them, or just store them away for later use, they will lose their charging capabilities within 3 years. That being said, if you have batteries that won’t hold a charge, then just return them for a newer one.

Backup Batteries

I just purchased a Nikon P610. Because I’m going to be traveling quite a bit, I really don’t want to be stuck with a dead battery. Vivitar is a well-known name, so I felt confident in my choice. Just to be on the safe side, I also ordered a separate charger, rather than charging batteries while they’re in the camera. The little “tool kit” was just an afterthought, but it’s already come in handy. Outstanding seller, by the way. Very prompt, and everything was packed securely.

Lots of stuff for moderate cost!

After waiting a while for the initial charge, the unit works fine. It is much more convenient to swap batteries, rather than connect the camera to the charger, each time. I always have two spare fully charged batteries. Lens cleaning stuff, I have not used but it is essential. And the European AC adapter is perfect for foreign trips.

This is a great little set to go along with a new camera. I haven’t really pushed the batteries hard, but they work well for what I need and seem to hold a charge just as well as the battery that came with my Nikon. (I was mostly purchasing this set FOR the batteries.) I do enjoy all the little extra tools for keeping the camera clean, though. They have come in more handy than I thought.

Not sure which is bad, charger or battery

Nov 8..5 months after purchase battery will not charge. Put in charger 4+ hours..both charger and battery hot touch. Not sure which is bad, charger or battery.
