High quality and sturdy without being too large or heavy

I bought these to secure my waterproof camera while whitewater kayaking. The hardware seems high quality and sturdy without being too heavy. There is more resistance to the stretch than I expected, and the 4 foot limit can only be reached with effort. See the photo for the stretch my 8 oz camera causes. The rubber cover at the junction slides off easily, as shown in the photo, as others have mentioned. I don’t think this compromises the integrity of the lanyard, but it does expose some sharp metal edges.

Just what I was looking for

I use these every day, and consider these lanyards to be high quality. I use both when I’m working; one holds my keys and the other is attached to my hand saw so I don’t drop it when doing arborist work. Even though my hand saw weighs a pound or two I never have to worry about the lanyard breaking, and I’m sure it could handle much more weight if I needed it to.

Secure your stuff before

You flip your kayak. These work well and they are just what I was looking for. I’ll know in a couple of years if these will hold up. I don’t fish in harsh salt water environment, but from what I can tell I don’t think these would do well in that kind of situation…just not sealed enough.

construction and function are excellent.

I have no issues with these lanyards except the size of the end loops and the split ring and biner. I would have chosen smaller and made the end loops smaller. I am sure there are folks will disagree with me regarding the size. The guality of materials, construction and function are excellent.

It has the perfect spring rate

It has the perfect spring rate. There is no way my aluminum pliers will hit the deck if dropped. My only complaint is the shrink wrap around the crimps slides off too easily. The crimp was fully exposed on one side of both tethers when I received them.

Bought these as replacements for some fishing pliers. WAY BETTER QUALITY than what was on them originally.

Funcitional, but could use an extra D-ring

Not a bad item for the price. My only wish is that it had D-rings on both sides of the coiled bindings.

Great gear handler for SCUBA.

We use 4 of these for scuba diving. They work wonderfully for a dive light or your dive computer. I”m buying another 2 today because of their utility!
