The Wilson Cushion-Aire Classic Contour Replacement Grip has been a staple in the world of racquet grips for years. A ridge throughout allows for increased grip sensation, while tiny perforations promote increased absorption and decreased drying time. Made to replace the base grip on your racquet, the Cushion-Aire features the comfortable feel its name would suggest along with a bit of tackiness to promote confidence in your hand positioning as you swing.
I purchased this tennis racquet grip for when it was hot and my hands would sweat while playing. It’s works well. I did have a grip that NEVER felt damp or wet but have never been able to find it again. It’s worth putting a note in your phone or keeping the packaging so you can repurchase later if you like it. We know Amazon keeps a record which makes it easy. So this is fine for now but I’m still on he search for the perfect grip.
Nice grip, like the feel will update after use.
I have purchased this several times. If you like the contour ridge, this is an excellent replacement grip.
If you like to hit the ball hard like I do, or you just find the racquet slipping in your hands, this grip is perfect. It’s REALLY spongy compared to the typical flat overgrip. Protects against blistering too if you have that issue. One thing to be cautious of is that it is thick. It will increase the grip size of your handle a full size up. (1⁄8” +)
Live in Florida and I play almost every day, so I needed a grip that last, at least, a couple of days. Excellent grip. The best !
These are the replacement grips that we like the best for our tennis racquets. They somewhat tacky and the raised ribs help to improve the grip while still be comfortable.
