Set of 20 clips - 10 each regular 1” and large 1-1⁄2”
Size:1 pack
Very nice, especially for the price. The bigger ones are more like for a tomato plant, and the smaller ones work fine on orchid stems - I can use them on very thin stems if I put the support bamboo pieces towards the biggest part of the clip and the orchid stem to the smaller section. I gave them 4 stars only because I prefer the small daisy type orchid clips, but if you using them for other plants I would go with a 5.
These are not super heavy duty, but then again, they don’t need to be. For the price, they seem to be a good buy for keeping those plants growing where you want them. I found the empty bag these come in out on our lawn after our dog had gotten ahold of it and chewed up several of these. I scooped them all up and tossed out the busted ones. I am glad I did not pay a ton of money for these. P.S. They are not dog proof.
These are much bigger than I need and since they are unreturnable I’m stuck with them. They are only good on large plants and small trees. Their return policy is rather obscure. .so don’t order these unless your SURE you want to keep them!
I used them to attach my pea vines to their trellis in my garden - worked great. I guess I did not read the print in detail - I did not realize they came in two sizes. The larger size works great. I had to stretch the smaller ones open to use them.
These work grest for my climbing rose bushes aND my tomatoe plant. Will buy more
THE LARGE CLIPS ARE A FAST EASY WAY TO SUPPORT PLANT STEMS TO STAKES UP TO ABOUT 1” THICK. THE SMALL CLIPS WILL WORK ON STAKES UP TO ABOUT 3⁄4” THICK AND ALSO NICELY TO CLIP ONE STEM TO ANOTHER. QUICK AND EASY TO CHANGE AS PLANTS GROW. BEATS USING STRING OR TWIST TIES HANDS DOWN IN MOST APPLICATIONS.
Great find! So simple, yet so effective! Practically invisible among the foliage. Works to support houseplants or any small staked or trellised plant.
These clips are great. I used them last year and needed more this year so I ordered these. They are so convenient and save so much time. I use these to clip my tomato plants to a cattle fence. I can also use them to clip one plant to another. When the plant gets too far from the fence to clip it, I just use a piece of string and make a loop at each end and put the clip thru the loop and on the plant and put another clip thru the other loop and to the fence. My tomatoes stay up even in high winds. I would recommend these. If they ever come apart, they are easy to put back together.
Plant and flower clips are great. I used string before. They are much more attractive. They blend in to the color of plant and worked great along with the bamboo stakes I…
I have spent so much time and energy staking and tying up vegetables and roses. The moment I opened these I walked out to my roses and simply clipped a weak branch to a stronger…
They held in place and didn’t mark the plants! I had a couple fall apart when I took them off the plants but they went right back together and worked like they were new!
Perfect for viney vegetables and tomatoes
Along with a few dowels, these are the perfect way to keep my San Marzano tomatoes from slumping!
Great
The small clips have a hard time wrapping around a vinyl trellis. They do work. It is tight. Will see if they stay on. The larger clips work fine.
I have not used these yet but assume they are the same as a friend of mine has, they are wonderful for propping up stray plant stems on slim stakes, and they do not hurt the plant…
Great little clips for holding tomato plants to cages or other support apparatus.
