Tulip Shape Prevents Vignetting | Protects Lens from Accidental Impact
Universal Professional Tulip Lens Hood is primarily designed to prevent unwanted stray light (flare) from entering the lens by extending and shading the end of the lens. In addition, since the end of the lens is extended, you also get the added benefit of some extra protection from accidental impact. Screw-mount lens hoods, such as this 55mm, are designed to screw right into your lens or filter. Rear locking ring allows the user to rotate the hood in 360°direction.
Good stuff…
Fits great.
Expected to be more tulip length bu its OK.

Did not like the quality. It sticks out passed your lens. Gives it a vignette effect. No Bueno!
I am pleased with the product and the service I received.
Works percectly. Great buy
Doesn’t fit
Sufficent
Works well. No complaints.
This tulip lens gets a five out of five basically they’re all the same there’s nothing any different about this one other than the fact that it doesn’t cost you a ton of money so…
Very good
Doesn’t fit kit lens well without using screws on front. Was looking to try and use my kit zoom more. When affixed with cap screws, you can see hood edges in images.
It’s cheap so I can’t really expect anything great but it’ll get the job done
