Use the monitor to position the cameras for your surveillance system.

I found the camera a bitch to install be cause; 1) No manual was included, 2) The design of the power and video cable connectors would of have required me to drill a ¹⁄₂ inch hole into my car, which I did not want to do, and 3) The lights are not bright enough to see clearly in very dark places. I installed this on my Jaguar S-Type, os I removed the chrome moulding above the license plate and was able to fish the wiring through without drilling any holes in my car.As for the monitor, I not only like it because I can place it anywhere I want to, but a big feature which is not mentioned in the product description is the ability to use the monitor to position the cameras for my surveillance system.
