First things first - I bought this kit pretty much exclusively because it includes a USB charger

First things first - I bought this kit pretty much exclusively because it includes a USB charger, and a Micro USB cable WITH a switchI ran a stress test on the Raspberry Pi 3, and the included power supply can’t even keep up without any peripherals. There is NO way this is an actual 2.5 amp supply, but I don’t have a USB power meter to see what the actual power draw is.I don’t have any stability issues, but if I stress the RPI, the red power LED blinks intermittently which indicates a power delivery issue. I have zero problems with my Samsung 2 Amp rated power supply, even with a USB Mouse/Keyboard, Digital-to-Analog converter, and I even plugged in a USB fan to draw as much power as I could.The power supply is garbage - but the case is standard (meaning not great but more than adequate), and the heatsinks actually have good adhesive on them.All-in-all, I think it is a good value but the power supply is really sub-par. If the distributer found a better quality power supply - I would wager that these would FLY off the shelf.As it stands I do recommend that you either buy this kit and substitute it with a good quality USB charger, or just peice your own kit. I threw the included USB power supply in the trash, but the cable, heatsink, are all worthwhile.

WOW. Perfect for budget users.

Perfect pack for getting started, especially since many people have multiple HDMI cords and a few MicroSD laying around. I like that this includes the more obscure or hard to find items, like a 2.5a power supply, heat sinks, and a USB Micro cord with a switch. This “rare items” combo deal, with the added basic case for the pi is all one really needs. Other components (the HDMI cord, the MicroSD, a keyboard/mouse, wifi dongle, Bluetooth dongle, remote, etc.) users really want to get on a piece by piece basis, because they have different needs. To have the essentials covered (Max power [2.5a PS], max control of power (at a cheap price) [USB cord switch], increased performance (at a cheap price) [heat sinks], and pi protection [case]), at the price offered is astounding.I would give this 6 stars out of 5 if I could. (7 stars may be pushing it, unless they lowered the price).

Sent it back. The USB charger here is not a 2.5A supply. My Raspberry Pi 3 flickered the low voltage symbol and red flashing LED even without USB devices attached. The case is ok, but it’s no better than any other case I could get.Fortunately Amazon gave me no issue sending it back.
