Product Description

This cable will let you swap out the stock 150mm long flex cable from a Raspberry Pi Camera (either ‘classic’ or ‘NoIR’ type) for a different size. Works great, just carefully open the connector on the Pi and slip this one in.

This cable is 2 meters long. We have cables in a ton of sizes so you can have the perfect fit. Each order comes with one cable, Pi Camera not included (but we have those in the shop as well)

Please note, we did test this length cable with our Pi Model B/B+ and a Pi Camera and it worked great but 2 meters is really long for this kind of camera protocol, so if you have a very electrically noisy environment (inside a tesla coil?) you may have corrupted images.

The extra length opens up new possibilities

This very long flex/flat cable gives more options with locating the camera, relative to the PI. Definitely useful in some key projects.

Great cable, very durable

I wish they offered more sizes, this runs a little long for what I am doing. It works great for my 3D printer time lapse camera. Very durable, my 3D printer bed has smashed it several times.

Works, but the image quality suffers greatly. For some reason it resulted in my camera saving an image to the Pi but that was all black.The video that displays while it is taking the image is full of noise and flickers. Tried trouble shooting a bunch and it just seems to be the cable.

i purchased this ribbon cable to use with a pi camera to monitor my 3D printer. The cable turned out to be longer than I needed, but no stars docked for that.

It is just cable folks…

not sure why I need the camera 8 feet away from the RasPI, but, if I do, this is the cable to do it with :) Not sure it makes sense or that the quality won’t suffer from…
