This Echo stand is cool!! I like that it keeps my Echo stable, I am always worried about it being knocked over with folks in this house! I like the look of the bamboo wood. IT can also hold my phone while its charging! IT is very light weight and can be used anywhere~ kitchen. bathroom, bedroom etc! Its light enough to toss in a to go bag a tag it along to keep echo and phone in a safe place. I give it a 5 star. The stand is strong and stable, Thats what I was looking for in a stand!

Unique and innovative, is what could sum up this speaker stand in two words. My Iphone 6S fits perfect in the slot provided, and my speaker sits in the sleek looking bamboo cradle perfectly. The design of the speaker stand actually gives my living room some uniqueness that it didn’t have before. A friend came over last night, and the first thing they said was, “coooool, where did you get that?” Would definitely recommend…

Great Echo stand, OK phone stand
The bamboo stand for the Amazon Echo and smartphone is very lightweight, sturdy, and solid. When placing the Echo speaker, there is a slot for the power cable to be placed behind the stand. I did have some trouble with the smartphone stand though. The hole insert for the phone’s charging cable is a bit difficult to navigate smoothly. In order for you phone to be compatible, your phone’s charging MUST be on the bottom center of the device. I tested this out with my iPhone 7 Plus and my Huawei Ascend XT (6” smartphone). Unfortunately, my Ascend XT’s charging port is on the bottom right corner of the device, so stand will block the charging port, making it unable to charge. But as a stand it does work fine. When I tested it with my iPhone, everything fit well. The problem I did have is that you must you a specific type of cable in order for it to work with this stand. If you use a the standard cable Apple gives you in the box, you should be fine. But if you use a thicker cable, then the cable must be angled to fit into the stand and charge the device. The cable must be bent at a 90 degree angle to set into the stand firmly. If you have a flimsy cable, it will work fine, but in my experience, thin cables don’t last very long over use. Apple sells you flimsy cables intentionally so you have to keep replacing it! My biggest annoyance with this stand is that the cable can fall out of the stand when I unplug my phone and I constantly have to locate the cable and reinsert it back into the stand every time I want to charge my phone. This became TOO much of a hassle for me that I stopped charging my phone in that stand completely. The phone does sit in the stand perfectly at the right angle for me to video chat and what not. The jury is still out on the functionality of this stand. It’s cute as an Echo stand, but my feelings towards the phone stand part is still iffy. As for quality of the stand, I will rate it a 4.
Affordable and Stylish
Loved this product! It is very stylish and went great with my home decor. While I do not have an echo, the extra space was perfect for a candle, and I could put my phone right next to it for a simple but elegant docking station. I love using this product and would recommend it to others.
