Excellent customer service from AK-Tech
Purchased for $30 from amazon warehouse deal. Can’t complain at this price point.Pros- Came with a bunch of accessories, which included an extra battery and an external 2-battery charger. Waterproofing worked fine upto 14 feet. It floats in water. Works like champ in well-lit outdoor conditions. The remote shutter is a great addition (when you hook up the camera on your helmet etc). Auto-focus system is satisfactory even in low light conditions.Cons- Dynamic range is not very good. More like iphone 3G or 12 MP digital cameras from 2000s.Can’t rely on the inbuilt microphone while the camera is in the case.The battery compartment cover is kind of finicky.There’s a one and half second lag from when you hit record, and the camera starts rolling.Could have used a digital image stabilization system.The battery compartment cover was broken. After emailing the manufacturer, the mailed me 2 spare covers within 5 days. What more could one ask for!I purchased this camera for making travel vlogs. Couple of underwater clips, or action clips in POV adds a great deal of flavor to the video. This camera will definitely get that done.
WORKING LIKE A CHAMP
So far so good! Took it out on the ATV the other day and was concerned about the video possibly jumping around when hitting bumps on the trail but the final video product was clean and bumps were hardly noticeable considering it has no image stabilization ! Battery lasted close to an hour and a half as advertised. The Manual says the maximum compatible SD card is 32GB and yet when purchased the 64GB card was promoted and I ordered it. The unit seems to function with no problem having a 64GB installed.This is my first entry level mini camera I purchased to avoid paying the high prices of a GoPro. This knockoff brand works just fine and buying the refurb unit at $40bucks for a 4KUltra unit is a no brainer. Picked up the accessory kit, a case and extra batteries too. Plan on using the camera for snorkeling in Hawaii next year. The still photos are comparable to a point and shoot but yield only 2mb size photos which is a disappointment. Overall I love the camera.

It was missing the extra battery and the case was the wrong one but the seller sent me an extra battery and a new case right away. Great customer service, great camera. Why pay $300!? This is an excellent deal!
A great camera at a low price. I prefer this over my GoPro!
This camera set is fantastic! I like it so much, I use it more than my GoPro! I have added accessories, hard carrying case, extra batteries and charger set. I am very pleased with this and have recommended it to several of my friends.

The wrist remote although works fine for still photos… failed to work for Video recording..Send a replacement remote and I will update the rating.Update:AK-Tech responded by sending me 3 remotes that covers all their cameras since they dont know which one I had..I am changing my rating from 2 star to 5. Great job guys. Camera works just as well as my other EK7000 thatI got brand new for $80. So with this one, I got 2… One for my wife.. one for me.That way.. she’s not the only one in the shot. :D
Akaso Ek7000 review
Works very well, comes with 2 batteries so you won’t run out of battery fast. Although at 1080p 60fps it is VERY good quality, I tried 4K 25fps and I found that it looked worse than 1080p and even 720p. Other than that this is a very good camera I recommend it.(Follow me on instagram @hky.10)

The waterproof case that came with the camera does not match up with the power button, rendering it completely useless. Camera is fine.
