Product Description

Featuring a center column that converts to a 5-section monopod, the Albott Tripod brings enhanced flexibility by enabling you to quickly switch between tripod to monopod shooting without missing a beat. It is equipped with a 3-way head that supports loads up to 8.8 lb and is suitable for both photo and video applications. The head provides pan and tilt control, as well as a horizontally tilting camera platform for switching to 90° portrait orientation. For easy camera attachment and removal a quick-release plate with a standard ¹⁄₄”-20 screw and video register pin is included.

The tripod reaches a maximum height of 70” with the center column extended and offers a minimum working height of 21”. When the center column is removed for monopod use and is fully extended, it reaches a height of 65”. To allow for use on virtually any surface, the tripod legs features rubber feet that can be rotated to reveal metal spikes. A padded carrying case is included for convenient storage and transport.

Albott 70 Inch DSLR Tripod

This is a great tripod! I was really skeptical about buying a cheaper tripod but am totally surprised with the quality of this! This tripod had some key features that I was looking for without having to break the bank. It is very light weight and is easy to use. Best points for me were the quick release leg adjusters, monopod option, level, and center handle, and most importantly the camera quick release. The camera quick release is awesome for dismounting the tripod in a hurry. Quick release legs are so much better than having twist tighten each leg and the level makes adjusting them super quick and easy. The monopod is really great. Simply twist a knob and pull the monopod out. It has a telescoping leg that you simply twist to unlock and lock at the desired height. The center handle grip makes moving the tripod a breeze. There is no ball joint but panning and tilting is really smooth flowing, silent, and easy! All of the pieces are surprisingly sturdy and tight so I have not experienced and shakiness or jiggling around. This remains true even when the tripod is fully extended and even when my camera is flipped sideways at a 90 degree angle. It came with a nice carrying bag also. It supports the weight of my camera with no issues at all. This has done a great job of staying sturdy and stable while using an intervalometer to get some really nice timelapse shots. Awesome tripod- love the carrying case, too!

I love this tripod! It’s very durable, and it’s a lot nicer than tripods I’ve used in the past. The carrying case makes for easy traveling and walking. I recently took this tripod on my vacation to New England, where we did several portraits and fun shots of the landscape. We even took it hiking! (It turned out to also function as a makeshift walking stick, ha.) I’m confident this will last me for many years to come.

Great Tripod

I’ve only had the tripod for two weeks. So far I like it. I love the height; I can now view down on top of tables without loosing my wide angle. It’s a learning curve from my previous tripod though. Some pros for me are height, viewing down onto surfaces, carry handle, and the weight hook which could also be used to hold purse/camera accessories.

As a hobbyist photographer, I find this tripod to be a fantastic value. It has plenty of adjustability, is pretty lightweight and has most of the features of high end tripods without the second mortgage pricing. If you don’t use a tripod all the time but want one that’s tall, stable and does the job, I can’t see why you would need more than this one. The more I use it, the more pleased I am with my purchase.

Kind of on the heavy side which is good and bad depending on what your doing. The head looks well built but the attachment plate is too big for my A6000.

Bad quality head

Bad quality head, very wobbly, not sturdy, not for video production, not level for photography, wish I could return for a refund. Waste of money. Head doesn’t lock.
