Product Description
Featuring a center column that converts to a 5-section monopod, the Albott Tripod brings enhanced flexibility by enabling you to quickly switch between tripod to monopod shooting without missing a beat. It is equipped with a 3-way head that supports loads up to 8.8 lb and is suitable for both photo and video applications. The head provides pan and tilt control, as well as a horizontally tilting camera platform for switching to 90° portrait orientation. For easy camera attachment and removal a quick-release plate with a standard 1⁄4”-20 screw and video register pin is included.
The tripod reaches a maximum height of 70” with the center column extended and offers a minimum working height of 21”. When the center column is removed for monopod use and is fully extended, it reaches a height of 65”. To allow for use on virtually any surface, the tripod legs features rubber feet that can be rotated to reveal metal spikes. A padded carrying case is included for convenient storage and transport.

A huge upgrade from my previous tripod.
This tripod is a bit of a lifesaver for me… okay, not really, but it is a huge upgrade from the cheap $20 tripod that I was using to film with prior to making this purchase. I use the tripod pretty much every night because I am a YouTuber. My channel is relatively new (1 year old), but I started by using what I could afford. When I first started my channel I used a very small table top tripod that would nearly fall over from the weight of a phone. From there I upgraded to a regular tripod, but a very budget friendly one. This was a huge upgrade from my previous tripod, and here are my thoughts so far:Pros:+ The build quality on this tripod is quite good. It feels very sturdy without being heavy. The base legs are far thicker than the previous tripod that I purchased.+ It gets very tall (70”). I haven’t yet run into a situation where I would need it to get any taller.+ The middle portion pulls out and can be used as a monopod. I have a small monopod, but this one is much longer and can pull extend as well (which my other one can’t do).+ It pivots very easily at a lot of different points (see the video for examples).+ It comes with a thin bag that you can use for easy transport.Cons:- I’ve been using this tripod for a month and I haven’t really found anything about it that is a major con.Please keep in mind that I am not a professional photographer, so I can’t really speak to how this would work for you in you are. I can only speak to my usage as a tech YouTuber that primarily uses my phones to make my videos.

Excellent tripod. I use it for both my smallbore rifle and pistol target shooting. The quick detachable mounting plate is a nice feature. It provides quick setup and breakdown.
