Work great on my Phantom 3
I used these on my Phantom 3 and they got me out as far as 2 miles. I have gotten that far on stock antennas with the windsurfer add-ons (parabolic reflectors) but they are a definite improvement over stock. Funny thing is that yes they are directional but I was rotating one at a time and not noticing too much of a signal drop. BUT when you are far out like 1.5 to 2 miles, you need to face the remote in the exact direction of your drone within 10 degrees, maybe less, or signal drops off dramatically. These are capable of more. I was going from 85% to 0% almost instantly and I assume it was from objects in my flight path like power lines, houses, etc. In an open area they will probably only be limited by your battery.

So I have the ST16 pro and the Stock antennas would get me out to 2900 before I see any glitch on the screen and I would lose all video around 3400 and 100 ft up and flying strait out away from any place or power lines just open caddie range. I have to hit the home button to get my drone back into sight.With these Alfa 2.4z 7 dbi re-SMA panel on the same heading same height I’m hitting 5126 before I seen my meter have a glitch and stop telling me from time to time.. I got out to 5689 and stop and did a 360 with full video and thought that plenty far and then retune to home on fast mode angle mode and then lost video! I think because of angle of pinch from the drone kind blocks part of the factory antennas but had full video with out any glitch 4900 and all the way home!! So there you go a true report they will get you a good 2000 ft more up to 3000 more then stock.. worth the few bucks and keeps the warranty good! I know there better out there but there big and heavy! .. 4 stars just because I was hoping for 10,000 ft
Increase Range and Signal Quality
Adding these antennas effectively increased signal range with a solid connection. These antenna can be used to transmit as easily as to receive. These are directional so face them by aiming the brand name ALFA at your reception or transmission points. It’s a set and forget plug and play ease of use install by simply connecting and pointing them. I saw these online and wondered myself if they would do the job, they worked flawlessly. They do work.
This product is worth a try. After watching videos on Youtube, I decided to invest in theese. They arrived before the delivery date which eas also nice. They are exactly as advertosed so no problem there as well. I popped them on and off we went. At this time i have not done a full distance test as I live in a populated area with plenty of interference. I have at least gotten out with 1 Alpha and 1 Regular Antenna to about the 1500 range and that was not a RTH flight. It was definitely less with both stock anttennas.
Get out of town and clear of all other wi-fi and it helps range much better.

Great Antennas for the Price
I use these Antennas on my other drone controller and im very happy with them, they work good and for the price.
Did not work in my application.
Did not improve wireless security camera signal.Original Omni antennas worked better at longer distance too.
Perfect for Solo 3dr
I was able to almost double my range of my drone, max distance was 7100 ft.
