So far so good. I have had this hooked up to 200 watts of solar panels on the roof of my van. The price was great, but it’s a PWM controller which will have to do for now. MPPT’s controllers are way more expensive
Using in an inexpensive remote camp build. Loving them.
So far so good. I have this on a 20 watt solar panel I use to help recharge a marine battery. I recall reading somewhere to hook battery up first, which I did then the solar panel. It started charging immediately. We have had rain and clouds the last few days, so cannot comment any further. I like the fact it gives me a USB port to charge my phone.
Good features for the price. Charges my batteries as expected. However I had to return mine due to issues with the front panel controls. I can’t seem to set anything regardless of how long I hold down the menu button. Also noticed that when the battery level drops below a certain point, it flashes the battery level icon. When this happens the menu button itself becomes non-responsive. May be buggy firmware.
This charge controller is fantastic and takes the doubt out of charging the batteries in my solar watering system. It’s a great item for the price.
Works great. Lots better than comparable product from discount tool store. Very easy to install and use. It is highly recommended.
I’m pretty impressed with the design and features of this. It charges pretty well, has accurate readouts, and good connection areas, if lacking in size for thicker gauge cables.
Soon it will be installed for my small AC cooler and battery charging
Works well no issues
Since mine was delivered less the 24hrs, I had it installed yesterday and it’s charging my battery type 601 while waiting for my MC4 connectors for the panels.
Well built
I like it
Works great and charges all my USB devices.
comments powered by DisqusAppears to work ok for charging and monitoring voltage. There is an A in the LCD screen if you hold just right to the light but I can’t seem to find any way to see the charging…
