Altura Photo flash kit has a thumbs up
I was simply looking for an inexpensive flash that would work attached to a Canon Rebel T5i, and this totally exceeded expectations. The flash works great. It can be adjusted to change the flash output, and it can be aimed 360. The highest flash is very bright, and the lowest flash is a nice subtle light. It is perfectly compatible with the Canon camera.The nicest surprise is it can be used as a wireless flash off the camera… in other words, an inexpensive way to have a portrait studio, or to work with side lighting. And wait, that’s not all! It comes with a remote for your camera! Granted, the remote is pretty inexpensive and is simply a button that acts as the shutter release…. but it does work, and was a bonus as I wasn’t really looking at that when deciding whether to purchase! The diffuser is inexpensive plastic, but it does the job and that’s all you really need. Be prepared to find a you tube video by others who had used it or something similar as the manual didn’t translate very well. It has my full stamp of approval.

Bought this flash kit to bring with me to Chicago for family vacation. The flash & diffuser work wonderfully for both indoor & outdoor photographing, and the batteries that comes with it last for the whole trip. As for the wireless remote control, it’s fairly easy to use. The kit also includes the microfiber cloth that i use to clean up my equipment, leaving no residue.Overall, I’m very satisfied with the Altura flash kit, worth every penny spent.
Broke College Kid Gets Surprised
I have a Nikon d5300 and I Really like this flash a lot. This flash works so great for the price you get it for. I have never owned any flash for my camera before. I’m sort of a beginner and I’m learning how to use my camera more and more everyday. So I thought it was time for me to get a flash because the built in flash is way to harsh. When I was searching on amazon I found this flash. I’m a college student, I wanted something that was going to give me great results but wasn’t going to leave me broke. When I opened the box, I was surprised of the weight of the flash. It didn’t feel like cheap plastic. Its pretty sturdy. The pictures attached are pictures I took in my house( I used the softbox they give you in the package). The light in my house isn’t that bright and gives people a orange skin color.. When I put on the flash it really made a crazy difference. Btw these pictures are not edited. Just straight out of my camera to the computer. If you want a great flash for cheap, DONT LOOK ANYWHERE ELSE

As a college student perusing a photography career and is on a tight budget this flash is excellent! I’m happy with the photos it took the lighting was perfect. Everything was delivered as expected and in excellent condition. This was worth the money and I’ll be buying more products from Goja.

Decent Speedlite Flash Bundle for DSLR Cameras. I’m still trying to figure it out but definitely a great bundle to start with as a beginner. I’m still learning the product so it’s hard to say there is anything wrong with the flash bundle.It is clunky (but any speedlite flash is honestly) and it does take a little getting used to. It does a specific relatively limited job well at a good price
Executive summary. Manual flash that works. Relatively feature free. Good for those who need a flash only occasionally and don’t mind manual. Good for the semi posed indoor group snapshot.You have to understand what you’re getting. It’s an inexpensive manual flash with a relatively low guide number. Adjust your expectations accordingly. I’m using it with a Sony Nex 6. It works. It kind of dwarfs the camera but any flash that uses 4 AA batteries will do the same thing. It’s easy to take a couple of test shots to adjust the flash intensity for the ambient light. It’s a manual flash so you have to do stuff manually. My flash needs are minimal. I do a small amount of indoor photography. Every now and then I want some fill flash outdoors. This fills the bill. If I took a lot of pictures where my camera needed a little help in the light department I’d invest more money in a flash.

Neewer is better with auto low power mode
Fires fine like other brand, but I don’t like followings.1) Attaching to hot shoe is terrible. It get stuck badly. Neewer has effortless in and out.2) Altura let drain batteries all the way to zero if I forget to turn off.Neewer has a auto low power mode function to save batteries.Although the accessories are nice and affordable, the main body has weaknesses.

Great inexpensive flash for the beginner.
I have been very happy with this flash. I do only have a starter DSLR camera so I didn’t want to spend a lot for the flash.

Pretty good! It’s hella bright but you can turn it up and down. There’s also a sliding cover to dim it down a little.It has remote capabilities as well.
Best flash for the money
Flash works great.Couldnt ask for anything more. I did get rid of the logo so its all black. Also love triggering it off the camera.
