Frustrating. I ordered three Amazon. com gift cards …

Frustrating. I ordered three Amazon.com gift cards with differing amounts for different family members, but Amazon shipped all three in the same box with no identifying information, so now I have no way of knowing whether I am giving someone a $50 card or a $100 card. I cannot figure out any way to see which card is which. If you order cards, be sure to separate one order (amount) from another, as Amazon will ship them all together otherwise.

Don’t spend extra for gift wrap

Paid extra for gift wrap, and the gift wrap is in no condition to give as a present. Worn and damaged corners, bent packaging, and does not look new at all. Print quality on the personalized message is terrible and unreadable in a couple of places. Save yourself some money and wrap it yourself.

Negative 10 stars! Do NOT order a gift card! Caveat emptor. Tried TWICE, same result

What a nightmare! Gift card arrives, I peel off sticker to check balance, and find out my $200 gift card has a zero balance. Call customer service, three reps put me on terminal hold after finding out they have one very angry customer who doesn’t want to hear about “we’ll escalate this to our gift card team”. After hours on the phone with people I cannot understand because they don’t speak English very well at all, their solution is to send me a new card. Too bad I needed it as a gift today!Update: new card arrived, and it also shows a zero balance. Customer service rep says THEY see a $200.00 balance on their systems, to which I reply: “The person to whom I give this is going to do the EXACT same thing I did, which is to check the balance and discover it is ZERO!” Amazon’s systems are clearly broken. What a disaster. Hey Jeff Bezos, put one of your 45 personal assistants on this and get it fixed!

Sent two for work carnival, both did not work!!

I ordered two $50 cards, received email stating they could not be programmed (after I received them). They sent me two more, received another email stating they could not be programmed (after I received them, again). Thus, the carnival was upon us so we ended up getting a $50 Target Card and $50 Wal-Mart Card instead.

Amazing how I received the boxes without the gift cards

I ordered 2 $50 gift cards to give out as gifts for XMAS. I was shocked to find that I received the boxes without the cards. I then proceeded to chat with an Amazon rep who said they would replace the item. Then I received an email stating that since they were cashed immediately they couldn’t do anything. Stroke of bad luck YES. Nothing I guess I can do since anyone could say that they were missing the cards. What bugs me is that there is no security procedure to protect the buyers from incidents like this….

Do not trust “Free 1-Day Shipping”

All the Amazon Gift Cards noted that they included Free 1-day shipping. I ordered two of them. One went to my house and the other was sent to a relative’s. The one sent to my house was delivered the next day, but the one sent to my relatives house (only a few towns over) wasn’t delivered until the third day. Please don’t advertise free one day shipping…especially on something like a gift card which is most likely a gift to someone….unless it WILL be delivered when you say it will. This is not the first time something like this has happened. It was just the first time it mattered that it was as late as it was!

Could have been really nice…but instead difficult and frustrating.

My order arrived quickly and on time. The trouble is that I ordered 6 cards in multiple denominations and you cannot tell from the outside of the sealed boxes which are which. There is a cut-out on the bottom of the box that shows the card’s serial number and upc code but NOT THE AMOUNT. So I now have to open all of the boxes to identify them. Also the packing isn’t the best so the boxes are all dusty and some of them are dented…not really the image I wanted to present to my prize winners,This is a disappointing purchase.I have had better experiences with the gift cards in envelopes.

Pretty Enough Box and Bow for Any Occasion

It’s a $25 gift card. I bought it to take advantage of an Alexa/Echo offer. The box and bow are attractive but they were in the garbage in five minutes and a few minutes after that the credit balance was in my account. Sending the pretty box and bow was nice and only other option was a white gift box with bow. Why I couldn’t have been emailed the $25 code I don’t know but I actually feel a little guilty for Amazon wrapping this up nicely and shipping it overnight. I’d have been happy with a code to copy, paste and redeem. Now all Amazon had to do, as promised, is email my $5 voucher for buying this $25 card.
