Not recommended for use with heavy, high-end DSLR cameras
Deluxe lightweight tripod from AmazonBasics. An Amazon Brand.
I was very indecisive about buying this product after reading reviews about how it’s poorly made. I was afraid it wouldn’t be able to hold my canon t3i, but for the price I said why not and so far I’m loving it! I also love the fact that it comes with its own bag. Does the job, it’s nothing fancy(which I didn’t really care for anyways). Definitely would recommend this to my friends!!
Is this a professional tripod and will I use it when it is windy? No. But I can use it inside, easily on tabletops, etc. I will probably hook a carabiner and my camera bag to the middle for added stability if it IS windy, but this folds up nicely and it will travel easily.
This tripod serves the purpose for which I purchase it. It is lightweight and backpack-sized. I can take it to the beach without fear of ruining a better tripod. It holds the camera with a bit of tight-down drift. I knock a star off for it being just a bit too cheaply made in the head department - “plastic-y.” Its unfolding and folding can be a bit daunting in this area as well, but I can’t knock this because the compactness is a feature, not a flaw; but cheap plastic is not a lightweight feature when durable plastic is available.By and large, I could recommend it for a cheap tripod to use for backpacking or simply one that you can afford to break and replace inexpensively.Amazon’s pay-to-play shipping fulfillment was mercurial compared to others much slower than other’s standard shipping. Speedy delivery used to be a customer service rather than a cost add-on opportunity. Except for the items from China, all other products I ordered as drop-shipped from vendors arrived before this one.
Another great AmazonBasics. For the price you get a no-fuss, compact camera tripod that looks sleek. The addition of the bubble level is a serious game changer for the price- I would highly consider this before stepping up to a higher priced tripod! The tripod is compact enough to slip into the smallest of my backpacks and still leave room for much.
It is excellent for the money. I use it to hold my phone while i make videos. Obviously for under $20 it is not going to be super high quality but it works very well. The only reason I cant give it 5 stars is that it just feels very flimsy. On the plus side, it holds my camera very securely and is a perfect budget option for someone who does not want to spend a ton of money on a tripod.
I am an artist and needed a small tripod o hold my art box when I paint outdoors an travel overseas, this is perfect! Not sure how it will be in very windy weather, but I will certainly give it a good test..it’s very compact and fits perfectly into my painting backpack. I will even be able to take it on as carryon luggage on a plane I think.
This isn’t a super bulky stable tripod. But if you’re looking for one easy to tote around and not leave your camera on unattended. It’s great for a video announcement 2 person job.
Look, I shouldn’t have expected much from a $16 tripod. Its flimsy, nearly dropped my camera multiple times, and doesn’t provide a stable platform when using 300mm or more lens which is sort of the point of having the tripod. BUT, I bought this to take timed photos of my family on our vacation and it did serve its purpose. If you’re even just getting into photography, pass on this one. Its only purpose is really just what I bought it for. taking timed photos of yourself.
Worked fine for a month, but quickly lost a piece or screw on this product. I would not recommend this product because of this.
This is garbage. From the moment I received this product it just kept falling more and more apart.
love the flip locks and the light-weight-ness, great for lugging around on tours. might get me another one for backup!
Literally doesn’t hold a camera weight at all. really flimsy. broke within five minutes of use. wouldn’t trust this thing to hold a camera.
It worked for a few months and two trips, but after a short time the adjustment screws (mainly the big tilt one) started stripping and not holding the position.
If you plan to put any type of dslr camera or any camera that has any weight do not buy this tri pod it’s flimsy and can easily fall.
I use this when I’m doing my Facebook live videos and it works perfectly for my iPhone 7+ and iPhone 8+. I am 6 foot tall and I do use a table but it adjusts perfectly.
I love my first Tripod. This is very useful for diferentes heights. I can put it on the floor or on my desk, I like the ajustable sizes.
Great product picked one up for my mini projector? Made set up so much easier and allowed me to use my mini pro pretty much anywhere.
