Fits well

Edit to my first review. Initially I had an issue with a residue from the sticker applicator that is preinstalled on the cover. I was a little disappointed, but Chris from Lightwish contacted me to follow up and see if there was a solution. He sent me a second set and they worked just great! The product fits great on the Session lens cover and through its first couple of uses all is well. I appreciate Chris working with me to get the issue resolved. It is nice to see a quick response from a company and also finding a solution quickly. Thanks Chris!

Great screen protector

Literally a perfect fit for the Hero 4 Session back LCD screen. Matte finish improves visibility during bright light, and the added scratch proof protection makes this a must-have. With all that said, when I say a perfect fit for the Hero 4 screen, I mean LITERALLY a perfect fit. Usually pretty adept with attaching screen protectors without subsequent readjustments, I had to readjust the screen quite a few times before getting the corners flush with the screen. The pros of this design is complete coverage and protection for your screen, but the cons include difficulty with aligning the screen protector without a lot of wiggle room for error. If you do mess it up, you have 2 other attempts for a total of 3 screen protectors. Good news is this screen protector doesn’t play around once it is attached.

1 arrived shattered, 1 had a noticeable line of adhesive, 1 was good.Poor, poor packaging considering it’s glass.I guess they give you 3 because it’s a gamble on how they will arrive and quality of the product… chances are you should get 1 to work.The one that was good went on without any issues.

Two of the lens protectors were in good shape. One of the lenses was destroyed in transit. At least I know what it looks like when it gets damaged. The packaging was very flimsy which caused the glass to break in transit. Otherwise, the protectors work very well.

Cheap, covered in residue, not clear

These are practically worthless. The first one was damaged inside the package. The second one had blemishes you can be seen from different angles. Finally, the third one looked ‘clean’ but once one it was applied to the camera you can see the ¹⁄₂ way mark where it was first separated from from the adhesive - but you can still see it when it’s on the camera. Unfortunately, this was a waste of money and completely unsuitable for protecting the GoPro and also having a clear view.

Package came well padded in a big envelop. Open the package and found 2 cloth and 3 glass screen protector. I read the instruction online and it’s pretty straight forward like any other phone screen protector. Up to this point, it’s pretty standard stuff. The issue came when I try to put the screen protector on GoPro Session 4 len. If you don’t get it just right, the glass doesn’t sit flush with the len and will create a uneven seal. You can tell by seeing a line or a pocket of air that’s just underneath the glass. After a couple of tries, I gave up and settle an air pocket with the upper right corner. Verify by taking a video and making sure the bubble doesn’t show up in the video. I’m not sure if it will fall off over time but I’ll update this review in a few days and see what happens.

Not Impressed

One of the three protectors came cracked. I was going on a trip and didn’t have time to return them. I put one on and it seems to work fine. There is a bubble but it’s unnoticeable on the video.

These work, but are shoddily made and packaged. One arrived broken, the others strewn about. Fortunately I only need one, maybe that’s why they sell them in a 3-pack?
