Casing had significant wear and tear out of the box - bent casing right above the LAN port, it also looks like the laptop took a significant hit on the front right side which bent the case enough so that the bottom cover of the laptop doesn’t mount flush with the rest of the case. Keyboard backlighting was not working. The headphone jack had no retention and whatever you plug in there you have to keep it in place somehow otherwise it pops out. The laptop was dirty with what looked like maybe coffee or some other food substance - it was EVERYWHERE between the keys and in all of the ports.Cosmetics and the headphone jack aside, however, this machine works like a champ. Just know what you’re getting into when you buy used.

I hate to jinx things
I really lucked out. I hate to jinx things, but I got a fabulous laptop at an amazing price. Was shipped very fast and seller was very responsive to my needs. He had a 100% satisfactory rating, which gave me the confidence to buy a used computer from him. I love my MacBook Pro!I should mention that the seller is CellElectronix!

Great device. Mid 2012 MacBook pro. Last version you can get into easily. Put in my 1TB samsung ssd from my previous (2008) MBP with little trouble. Great machine, fast and I don’t miss the retina display at all.
