Rusting after 1 month

These say they are for indoor/outdoor mounting of Arlo cameras and are from the Arlo company. However I noticed only after a month that the metal is rusting. Disappointed with the quality given the price and that these are an official Arlo/Netgear product. They are versatile for mounting the cameras but shouldn’t be rusting after such a short period.

Beware getting the Arlo Pro solar panel! I installed two brand-new ones 6 days ago, and one of them went bust this morning. Whatever camera I connect to it gives me an error message that says: “The charging source connected to the camera cannot charge your battery. Please use an Arlo power adapter.” These things are junk and, at least so far, Netgear support hasn’t stepped up to the plate to assume responsibility.

Arlo Pro Solar Panel Died After 2 Days

Hey, everyone. I’ve had my solar panel for 2 days, and it no longer functions. If you’ve purchased this defective product, return it as soon as possible so you can get a refund. I thought about calling Arlo’s phone support, but as it turns out, they charge you for that, so I wouldn’t bother. I also wouldn’t want to deal with their email support since that would only delay sending it back for a full refund.

Get what you paid for.

I’m using this on outside. After considering cheaper versions, I ended up spending extra money on this. The main reason is the fact that this is made of metal. I don’t think the plastic ones will last that long, especially under the hot sun. Joint where you can adjust the angle of the camera is very sturdy and has not moved since installation. It’s a high quality. It’s still way too expensive for what it is. I think they could have saved paper on packaging and made this cheaper.

This is the real deal, works great!!!

Works great. I put on a camera that was totally dead. This thing brought it back to life immediately. The batteries were fully charged after a week, and this was while the camera was being used in a pretty active parking lot. I purchased the off brand to try and save some money. Don’t make my mistake, purchase this one. The off brand actually discharged full batteries on two different Arlo Pro cameras within 2 days that were sunny. BUY THIS ONE!!!

Too pricey with no additional benefit. Only paying for the brand name

Compared to other skins you can buy from other companies that are the exact equivalent (Wasserstein for example), these are very over priced. Three identical skins are more than $10 cheaper elsewhere.

Awesome product

These are awesome. I was hesitant to buy these cameras because the batteries and chargers were so proprietary, but they are well worth it!

Perfect solution for white camera against dark backgrounds

Perfect solution for white Arlo cameras mounted against dark backgrounds. I almost contemplated painting my Arlo cameras black at one point. These skins fit nice and snug over the camera and look great now.

Hood causes ring/haze confirmed by Netgear.

Do not use these with Arlo Pro 2 Cameras. It will cause haze and distorted video. Called Netgear, they said they ARE aware of this issue, and told me to exacto the hood off.

Great wall mount/stand for our Arlo cameras. Easy to install mount to wall and camera onto base.
