Looks great in the Master Bedroom

This is a beautiful shelf. After hanging TV in bedroom, It hit me I had no place for our cable box. Wife was giving me the stink eye because of all the ugly wires it took to connect the cable box to tv from table below tv. Got this shelf, easy to install and wammm! 0 to hero in 20 minutes. Well made, super strong glass and easy to install and came well packed.

For $10, including the free 2-day Prime delivery, I was not expecting much. I was blown away by the looks, quality, and ease-of-installation of this item. You really can’t go wrong buying this.I’ve included pictures of it. I mounted it in the same stud on which I mounted my fully articulating TV bracket, and thought it would then be centered with the TV, but because of how the TV mount works, I was wrong. I probably could have mounted it with drywall anchors in a place where it would be centered, since only a light weight, compact DVD player is being placed on the shelf, but I didn’t want to risk it, and didn’t want to start over (and have to fill in the big holes I drilled through the stud). As you can see, the shelf could very easily hold pretty much any size DVD or Blu Ray player, and possibly even multiple components. It’s a tempered glass shelf, and holds something like 22 lbs. The black color goes with most modern TVs and mounting brackets.

It’s decent but poorly engineered

It’s okay. Not very stable because the glass shelf doesn’t connect to the support frame very well. Also, the minimalist look of the shelf itself is offset by the fact the test of the darn thing is very bulky. Not worth returning, it’ll do - but I recommend spending a few bucks more for something better.

Good quality product!

These are easy to install, they look sleek and they are very sturdy. I bought one for my Grandmother’s VCR and I’m considering purchasing a second for my other TV. Unbelievable deal!

No cable hiding

No cable hiding. It would be nice if it did. ANother review said (implied) that you could hide the cable but I couldn’t figure out how to do that. Also, the glass shelf is larger that I expected but okay

Easy set-up, though you will need power tools and to drill a deep hole in your wall. I have this shelf over my bed and it holds a mini-projector. The projector has to be right in the middle of the shelf or else the shelf will shift slightly. Maybe I didn’t tighten the screws enough, but regardless, it’s not a big issue since its easy to tilt the shelf back to normal.
