A collectible deserving a far better classification than simply “toy”
The Metal Build series of Gundams are Bandai’s premier line of Gundam toys (bare in mind the metal build series are toys, not models). Featuring di-cast parts - hence the “metal” moniker - and standing roughly 8+ inches in height, if you are looking for the top of the line Gundam toys this is the series for you.The Freedom Gundam featured in the Gundam Seed animated series is a perfect entry into the collection and can be had still for very reasonable prices.The material quality of the piece is excellent with a nice hefty weight and phenomenal detailing. Poseability is everything you could want and the Freedom can be placed in any pose seen in the anime allowing you to recreate any snap shot moments from the series.Accessories are not numerous per se, but include everything relevant you could want: beam sabers, beam rifle, shield, and a beautiful fin pack that can be spread wide and high to create a truly breathtaking display piece. Shoulder and hip beam cannons also unfold and reveal for maximum firepower and the included display stand is a work of art on its own with beautiful graphics and multiple adjustments allowing Freedom to display numerous ways.The box is also beautiful with some embossed script and the entire package simply feels like a high end collectible rather than a mass produced toy. I honestly cannot think of any complaint worth noting regarding Metal Build Freedom Gundam and any fan of Gundam toys in general or Gundam Seed should not hesitate to purchase him (unless you dislike Seed mobile suits obviously). My first choice would always be the original RX-78 2 Mobile Suit Gundam or the Origins version to start a collection however Freedom would follow close behind.
Most brilliant quality
The package came on time and was as described by the seller. It is one of the most detailed and stylish 1⁄100 scale kits out there. The gundams features die cast inner frame and plastic, detailed and painted armor with an assortment of weapons and hands.Highly recommend if you can afford it; you can buy 3 MG kits with this gundam’s price tag.
Perfect Gundam! Freedom!
Perfect! This is the third Metal Build Gundam I buy. It’s price is cheapest but the quality is perfect!!.The box is good packed. If ur a fans of Gundam Seed, u mustn’t miss this amazing item. The metal inside is very much!

It is totally worth the price! The joints are not loose, well painted. Diecast skeleton is wonderful!
PURE AWESOME
This thing is pure awesome! The inner frame is made of die-cast metal and any plastic part is nicely painted. Again, the paint job is way better than anything I can accomplish myself. The articulation of this pre-assembled model is great and it can pull off a ton of cool poses. The only con is that this thing has weight issues. But hey, that is exactly why a trusty stand is included. Lastly, once the wings go on, they do not want to come off and that is a good thing.
Like an updated die cast metal Master Grade kit
This is like an Evo version of the MG Freedom model kit. Excellent articulation, fantastic detail, and it has a nice update to the look of the Freedom. Bonus it’s priced way better than the other Metal Build Gundams. I wish the quantities were higher and the prices were lower on these things.

Metal Build Freedom Gundam
This is my first foray into Bandai’s metal build line; however, I own a large collection of gundam toys and models (I owned the msia, advanced msia and robot damashii versions of the freedom gundam (strike freedom)).This metal build freedom gundam is simply awesome. Every piece of the suit is painstakingly detailed (with many different shades and variations of the same colors and decals) and sculpted, and the intricate engineering utilized in this toy can only be fully appreciated when handled in person. The articulation is near perfect (although the joints are quite stiff) which allows you to pose him in almost any way imaginable. The toy also has a very durable feel because all the parts are of high quality, however, you probably already know that this product isn’t meant to be handled by children. Lastly, due to all the metal content, this is also the only freedom gundam model I am aware of that does not have any weight issues from the back pack. My only complaint in this first release would be a few minor paint smudges in the red crest of the V fin.These metal build toys are among the finest quality of gundam merchandise you’ll find, which is expected from the steep price point. Overall, if you can afford it, it’s awesome.
