I was hoping for a stronger keychain cable, but …

I was hoping for a stronger keychain cable, but it was not to be. I was able to pull the crimped threads off the cable with just my fingers. What’s the point of using a steel cable if the weakest link is a barely crimped connector. I noticed that the crimp was over the plastic, which weakens the crimp even further. I’m going to ask Amazon to return it.

Good buy, worth the money

I bought these as a key chain because you can’t fit anything else in today’s new car key fobs. Seriously! I bought this pack to replace the one I’ve been using for the past 2-3 years. It’s a good sized pack that is well worth the money. You can get colors (to tell things apart) or plain. The screw part seems pretty tight, though I’ve made it a habit to always tighten it when I pick them up after the old one let loose my keys all over the place one day. Some mentioned the other end, the non-screw end, coming out. My old one did that but it’s a simple dollop of crazy glue to fix that. So far so good with these - there’s not much to break or go wrong. It’s a simple piece of wire with a connector. At this price you can’t really lose with these.

I bought these to replace my traditional key rings because I hate tearing up my nails taking off my keys when I get my car serviced or take one off to go for a run. These are very secure and accomplish my purpose well.

Work very well for my purpose

I’m not using these as keychains, but rather to hang a shampoo/conditioner/soap holder from the shower in my bathtub (the pipe is too high to hang the holder directly). They work great. Very strong and the plastic “sleeve” keeps them from rusting. I think they’d also make great key chains if you don’t need something really flexible to fit in a pants pocket.

Eleven Out of Twelve Ain’t Bad

These cables are very sturdy and attractive with the colored coating. They screw in tightly and I haven’t had any problems with them coming undone. They’re the perfect size for my small number of keys and I had no trouble getting the cable through even my relatively small car key hole.Subtracted one star for quality control as one of the cables had its screw doodad installed backwards so that it can’t actually be used, but since I only needed two or three to begin with, and the bad one wasn’t even a color I wanted to use, so I’m not too broken up about it.Overall, great product.

Ever so handy! I just love these things.

These little chains go together just like a bicycle lock. I bought them to use with the Tile Mate Key Finder but have found a few other uses for them. They are great for dog tags…easy to thread through. Color coding keys is another. I attached one to the end of a pull chain. You’ll find lots of uses for these!

Well made, look nice, many uses

These are great. I bought them to keep my dog’s tags on his collar better because the metal o-rings were always stretching out. This is very durable, screws together easily, and the many colors look nice. I plan to use the additional loops for keys, paint chips, cards, small tools, etc. These can be useful in a variety of settings and the price was good too.

Disappointed with length

Need to be one inch longer. Securely fastens, durable, very unhappy with the length
