Works good for snorkelling and pocket!

After reading all reviews i bought this with the mentality that it will be my son toy camera if it fails to work but i am really very happy and suprised at how good the camera is, at the price point. Of course the photo quality and colour cant be compared to those expensive underwater cameras but It held up well for my maldives snorkelling for 2 full days (2-3 snorkelling session which are at least 1 hour long) with lithium battery. Good investment for recreational users. I’ll let the pictures speak for the camera.

great little camera

I love the purple color of this camera but the real question is how does it work. So far, it works great. I took a few test pictures around the house to make sure I knew how it worked. I dropped it in a big pot of water to make sure that it was water tight and not only was it water tight but it FLOATED on its own. I haven’t downloaded any pictures to my computer yet but on the little screen they looked good. I am taking this camera to Mexico with me in a few days so I will update this review if I find any complaints about the camera. But, so far so good. I would buy it again.

very nice camera…smaller than I expected, but that is not a bad thing.I have read where others have said putting in the batteries is next to impossible, but I did not have any problem(just have to use 2 hands…1 to push the button and one to push the door)So far the pictures I have taken with it have come out beautifulhaven’t tried the underwater part yet…but will be testing that on a rafting trip in August :)I would recommend using your own batteries versus the ones that come with camera, as I don’t think those would have a very long life

The camera feels cheap. But, it will serve its purpose.The images look like they came from a cheap camera. (Please see attached photos for reference.)The camera will not operate if you use a micro SD card larger than 16GB, so don’t even try.

Brought it on a trip to Iceland. Worked well …

Brought it on a trip to Iceland. Worked well in the Blue Lagoon. However, didn’t work for the snorkeling excursion I bought it for. It was too cold the batteries didn’t work.

Great camera for the price!

Bought this for my grandson to take on our sailing and snorkeling vacation in the islands. It takes very good pictures for a camera of this price. Also, many hours were spent in the water with the camera and the internals stayed dry. The only negative is that it runs on two AAA batteries, which don’t stay charged very long. Also, in order to take pictures you need to install a mini SD card, which does not come with the camera.

I purchased this camera for my 9 year old daughter. She’s not the most gentle person when it comes to electronics. So far it has endured some abuse! :) The quality is good enough for my daughters videos and photographs. It’s definitely worth the price.

Dont buy, unless you want heartburn.

First off as a camera, taking outside pictures this isn’t a bad little device, and it takes 16 mp not 12 like the description says(that should’ve been my first clue). The viewfinder was IMPOSSIBLE to view from underwater, at first I thought it was the sun but I tried in the shade and it was impossible to see what I was taking a picture of underwater. The worst it when you shoot a video it can only take a minute of it because the camera shuts off. The batteries died in an hour, an hour and I only got three minutes of video. However the best was one when I viewed the pictures the video. The pictures weren’t horrible, they actually are passable and savable. Not the great, but not bad. The video it looks like an old Bell and Howell reel to reel 8mm camera. It looks like the 1970’s and the sound is like the 1920’s. Embarrassing from a great company. Honestly spend a little bit more money if you want a better underwater camera.

I bought this camera for my 70 year old sister. I bought it basically as it seemed simple to operate and it also is waterproof in case it gets dropped. Takes nice photos.

Don’t waste your money if you want to take pictures indoors!

I purchased this camera as a Christmas gift for my 5 year old daughter in 2015. She used if for a few months but pictures were not good quality.

Depends on what you ate wanting. I guess you truly get what you pay for, it was inexpensive and took great pics in the water. Pics out of tje water were not as great.

Camera does not work.

I purchased this tem to use snorkeling in Indonesia. With new batteries and a memory card installed tie display said “CARD FULL” even after formatting the card.
