Awesome device well worth the money. I would definitely recommend person wanting large screen on a budget. Plenty of brightness so device can be used in partly lit room. Or if you have dark screen fully lit room. I will be purchasing another for outside use or take along for presentations. Truly awesome don’t think about it you can’t go wrong with this projector.
Great value
I am no projector expert but I can not see how you’d need anything better then this. I use this for my home theater. Bright, crisp, and clear image. unit noise not noticeable during movies.If you have color issues (yellow tint over everything) when playing DVDs set DVD players HDMI color setting from AUTO to RGB and you’ll be back in business.
Couldn’t be happier with the projector
Couldn’t be happier with the projector! This is the 1st projector that I have ever owned, but I was extremely impressed with the picture quality. I was torn on 1080p or this projector and went with this one for the price. I really don’t know how the 1080p projector could be much better than the picture on this projector, but I may upgrade to 1080p if I ever need to buy a new one. One thing that this projector had that I liked is the audio out put. The speakers on this projector are not good, so I bought a cheap sound bar and it works great. I use the projector in my basement for movies and PS3 and everything looks great. I have put about 30 hours on the projector so far. I think this projector is great for a first timer like myself, or if you are just looking for a fun way to watch movies. For the price you can’t go wrong.

Not as good as the Viewsonic in the same price range. Bought both and returned this one due to less vibrant colors.
Exceeded Expectations
I’m a fairly cheap guy, but I can’t stand low quality things. It makes my life miserable sometimes, but this projector leaves me incredibly satisfied.I have been wanting a home cinema projector for a long time but was unwilling to drop a grand+ for a good one or suffer with a cheap one. Finally I feel like the price and quality equation has become acceptable. (Even when factoring in replacement bulb cost)I was able to produce a 108 inch screen that was very acceptable in a semi bright room and exquisite in a dark room. The image was crisp and the lines clean, I saw no bleeding of light and was easily able to pick up even random stray hairs on screen. I can’t say native resolution is perfect 1080p, but it’s got to be close.I would now rather watch a movie at home than in the theater. Also I have used this with my PS4 and experienced no lagging or issues of any kind. The gameplay was perfect. (Though be warned, it can be quite disorienting when the entire wall in front of you becomes chaotic)The only negative I can possibly say about this projector is the built in speakers on it are absolutely pathetic, but I don’t know anyone who would want to use built in mono speakers for a home cinema, so I didn’t even take a star off for this. Many projectors don’t even have built in speakers.I have not used the 3D function. So I can’t say how good that is, but I assume if it’s up to the standard of the normal 2D imagine, It’s probably pretty good too.Easily a 5 star purchase for me.
WXGA-The most for your screen
Very satisfied with my purchase. After return a Irue projector and also a Epson projector, this BenQ is a keeper. Perfect for what i need it. I have my firestick connected and also my rockblocker speaker for added sound. My main purpose will be for ourdoor use and i found a perfect fit
