Not a metal drill
I have the same experience as some of the other commenters. Don’t use it for metal. I used it on an aluminium tube and the bit broke off in the first minute. I am sure it’s great for wood or plastic drilling, but not for aluminium drilling.
Nice DIYer set of smaller sizes
I bought this set as an add on item. For the low price, it was so much easier to replace some of the smaller more often used bits in my full set than to try sharpening them. Small bits are hard for my old eyes to sharpen well. These bits seem to be of reasonable quality and plenty good enough for my uses in the wood shop and around the house type projects. They do come with a nice little bit holder that would work well in a tool box or for the casual do-it-yourselfer.
High Quality
This is the drill bit set to get for most household projects and the price can’t be beat. B&D makes another drill bit set(model# 15557) for the same price but it’s a cheap steel alloy, this high speed set uses tungsten steel which is stronger and won’t break as easily.
Perfectly acceptable small bits
I bought these to replace the smaller bits in my drill index that are always breaking. They are perfectly acceptable bits. These are not high quality carbide tip bits, but they can be re-sharpened. And my small bits always break before they wear out anyway.I am sure I will be buying these again.
Break easily
After much use, these bits tend to break really easy when using steel. You have to use tons of oil to help keep from burning out the bit, and they still burn out quick and break in half. My wife even managed to break a bit working on a project using soft pine. They are inexpensive bits for a reason!
Amazing drill bits for the price
Amazing drill bits for the price. Got these for a small apartment tool set, they’ve been able to handle all of my small household repairs. Very sharp, and after months of use they show no signs of uneven wear or dulling. An essential for any toolkit.
Handled the work load, excellent value.
These bits handled by needs very well. They’re solidly constructed and worked for the job I had to do which was putting together a wooden swing set. I can’t comment on the viability of these for commercial use but having to drill dozens of holes with this product over a weekend the bits didn’t break and worked as advertised for a great price
Does the job so far
So far, so good. I keep this set on top of my drill press, secured with magnets that hold the steel case to the steel top of the drill

You get what you pay for. If you are using this for wood or plastic, on occasional use for some home fixings then I’d say it’s good.
