Compact design For access into tight places
The BLACK+DECKER BDCS20C 4v Max Lithium Cordless Rechargeable Screwdriver features a compact handle and a powerful 180 RPM motor for easy driving and removing of screws in tight spaces. Its inline trigger grip provides comfort and control when installing mini blinds, hanging curtain rods, assembling furniture and a variety of other household tasks. 180 RPMs and 35 in-lbs of torque provide plenty of power for a variety of applications. This unit is also attachment capable, allowing for compatibility with all of Black & Decker’s future attachments. Includes: (1) BDCS20C 4-volt max Li-ion cordless rechargeable screwdriver, (1) charger, and (2) screwdriving bits.
I rated this three stars, so far. What kept me from rating it any higher is due to the following: The forward/lock/reverse switch is in an awkward position for switching, I use this for unscrewing/screwing parts for my lathe chuck. Also, my deceased unit had the switch located so you didn’t have to shift your hand to change direction. I like being able to see where the bit is going, there is no light, handy to have when working in close spaces. The biggest fail is that there is no charging light, it is nice to see that the unit is charging, and when it is at a full charge, that little light also indicates that you have it plugged into a working outlet but the adapter, for some reason, has worked it’s way lose. I will give it credit for the torque, it was able to drive deck screws into fence posts, that really surprised me.Would I recommend it? Not really, spend a few more bucks and get one that at least has a charging light, and perhaps a better located forward/reverse switch.
Very nice auto screwdriver. I’m originally using this as a poor man’s drill and it does the job splendidly. Although the RPM isn’t very high, it’s fast enough and strong enough to get the job done. This can handle anything but the tightest of screws, in which case just use a manual screwdriver. It has 3 speeds: clockwise, counterclockwise and neutral (or off) for safety. I haven’t had it for very long, so I can’t say anything about the battery life yet, but just treat it like regular rechargeable batteries and dont overcharge
Handy item but wish they would bring back the charging cradle that holds the bits. It would be worth a few extra bucks to include the cradle.
High quality, works perfectly and cheap price !!!!This is a very good cordless, small size electrical screw driver with enough torque for most applications. You can also use this as a small drill (with proper drill bit). So, in many occasion, you don’t have to use those bulky electrical drill/screw driver with cord anymore. In brief, small, sturdy and multi functional. I love it !
I really like this screwdriver.Pros: it’s sleek and easy to use and functional and has a long lasting charge.Cons: this screw driver doesn’t have the power to driver bigger screws deep into wood. It craps out and I had to go buy a more expensive screwdriver to do the job I needed.
After a replacement for a faulty unit we used this heavily in renovating our fifth wheel. It performs very well. It has quite a bit of torque and the battery seems to last quite a while. It’s ergonomic and easy to hold. As others stated though, the switch to change it from forward to reverse is pretty stiff and it lacks a light. A magnetic bit holder would also be nice. All in all we are happy with the unit. It does require the 19 hour initial charge.
I had a trusty B&D power screw driver that lasted me 24 years but finally it gave up the ghost and wouldn’t hold a charge more than 10 minutes. This one isn’t as big and maybe not as powerful but serves small task purposes. Maybe one day I’ll find a good heavy-duty one with a very bright light on it, but for now this one will do just fine! it is smaller so fits much beter in my small tol box and it does hold a charge very well.
I love this one. Already lazy enough to use it around the house for all my tasks - even small ones. As other reviewers mentioned wish there is indicator for battery. But for the price, it is compact and very useful.Didn’t try yet for any big tasks. I fixed my son’s crib with this. What appeared daunting task became very easy job and any delays occurred only due to delay in reading assembly instructions.

The Black and Decker cordless screwdriver is great for the weekend handyman. Easy to use and good power.
Great little electric screwdriver, especially for the price.
comes only with two basic heads, not functional for most of the cases you’d use this on.
Bought this product in July of this year and it is already not functional. Light usage. Would not recommend it.
I tried using it to screw in a Ring Video Doorbell Into Wood Frame outside the door. Screw wouldn’t budge for nothing. I ended up hand screwing it in. No power whatsoever.
A bit underpowered, definitely not a substitute for a drill. Works well for screwing and unscrewing, though
I have had plenty of tools like this, but this is the best yet. Small yet pretty powerful and the charge lasts pretty long without slowing down. Angle of handle is perfect also.
It would have been “ok” and is serviceable I would guess, –just got it. However, there is no is/not charging indicator.
