Not built like my old B&D

I bought this drill after my old 18v B&D drill finally gave out on me after about 12-13 years of intermittent use for the odd household and hobby tasks I required of it. This new 12v B&D drill is not made nearly as well. It arrived with something bent in the head, this caused a quite noticeable wobble in the drill bit. It seemed unsafe to me and definitely not the quality I was expecting out of B&D so I returned it. I give this little drill 3 stars because it is affordable well balanced and has excellent power for its size. If you want to give it a chance, I recommend buying from a vendor that ships with Amazon so you have 30 days to return it for a full refund if you get a bad one like mine. As always Amazon’s customer service was excellent.

My husband bought this drill for me and I love it. it’s perfect starter drill and the perfect for your DIY projects. I am only using this drill for small projects so it works perfect for me and for the price you can’t beat it. If you are planning on using the drill everyday I suggest you spend a little more money and get a better drill but for those who will just be using it when needed, it works great

Good starter drill.

This is my first power drill so I wanted something inexpensive to try out some small projects with. I’m no expert, but it has a reasonable amount of power for basic home improvement tasks. It definitely doesn’t have the torque to be a more heavy duty tool but for simple stuff it fits the bill.

i had this brank cordless dril before but smaller. i got many years ooif use out of it so when it finally pooped out i wanted another same brand but a lil bigger. I bought this and im 110% happy with it . I have used it as a screw driver, drill and used it to run buffing wheels while polishing chrome on my harley and it has worked quite well for me. Penny :D
