Excellent Quality Product

I use these 3 foot length HDMI calbes to connect my PS3, XBox, and cable box to my AV receiver. The fit between the cable and the devices is solid with no wiggle room. The shorter length reduces the amount of cable I have to hide behind the receiver. The cables have a mesh reinforcement to help prevent damage to the cable. The cables are stiff, so tight junctions can be a little difficult, but not impossible to work with. With other brands of HDMI cables I have had issues with connections and cables going bad over time. I have never had to replace a BlieRigger brand cable yet. I have used other lengths of BlueRigger HDMI cables for a variety of installations to include in-wall runs. In every case the cable has performed flawlessly and provided the highest quality picture and sound that I have ever had from my devices. The price per foot for the cable is quite good, particularly given the high quality of the construction. These cables support the HDMI 1.4 standard for audio return and ethernet via HDMI. While I have not used the ethernet capability, I have used the audio return and it works perfectly, and removes the requirement for an additional cable to provide an audio input from the TV to the receiver. As the other HDMI cables in my house require replacement, I will purchase BlueRigger exclusively to do so.

Outstanding quality for the price!

I recently bought the 25ft version of this cable and the Poundex 5-tier Glass Top Media Shelf for my home theater setup.I had a bunch of older 6ft HDMI cables that were connecting my components to my TV. With the new component shelf, I no longer need cables this long and wanted the newest version of the cables to support future expansion of advanced features. I picked up a couple of these 3ft cables and the do the job nicely. The cables are just long enough to reach components to the receiver and then the big 25ft cable runs to the TV. I’m connecting a WDTV Live Plus media player and my PS3. These cables continue to astound me for their quality and durability. These 3ft cables have the same nylon braiding over the cable jacket that the 25ft cable has.The packaging of the 3ft cables was identical to the 25ft, cables coiled and secured with 2 zip ties and each cable enclosed in its own small box. So if this is the only item you are buying and it gets shipped in a padded envelope, the cable should still survive shipping. I ordered 2 at once so they came shipped in a small box. I don’t know if this is an issue for anyone else, but one of my real peeves is ordering a movie or cd and having it arrive in one of those envelopes broken, because of insufficient packaging.I’ve also done some reading up on Audio Return Channel since I bought the 25ft. cable. If you’re connecting your components to a receiver via HDMI, the audio should go to the receiver while the video passes through to the TV. The return channel comes into play where you have a TV source, cable, satellite, antenna, etc., that connects directly to the TV. Without Audio Return Channel, you would need to run a separate audio output from the TV to your receiver to get the sound from your TV program to play through the stereo. With the Audio Return Channel, this audio path uses the same HDMI cable from the TV to your receiver, so you can eliminate a cable from the setup. My TV is old enough not to support Audio Return Channel, so I am using a 25ft. Toslink fiber optic cable to run the sound out to my receiver from the TV.I don’t have any devices yet that support Ethernet-Over-HDMI so I can’t test that feature yet either. That is one feature I look forward to the most, because it would allow me to do away with my 8-port Ethernet switch and the 7 cables that span out to other devices. I would only need to hook up 1 device directly to Ethernet and the rest should be able to connect to the network using the single HDMI cable.

BlueRigger High Speed HDMI Cable with Ethernet (3 Feet) - Excellent!

I really like this short (3 feet) HDMI Cable with Ethernet capability that supports newer 3D and latest audio return in one simple to connect cable. I was able to connect my Sony Bravia HDTV directly into my Roku 3 player. No fuss, no muss. It is different from the other types of cables I have owned in that it has a bendable capability. This is good for 2 main reasons. First, there is no pressure on the connections (either male ends) because of this feature. Second, all Roku players are very lightweight, and the limp cable type had a tendency to pull the Roku players off my TV stand, so I would have to put a heavy glass or something to keep that from happening. As far as the quality of the picture and sound, it is excellent! I also like it because whatever excess cord there is (not much!) I can tuck neatly down out of the way. It is black, like my TV and my Roku, so that’s good. I am happy to recommend this.

Great cable - but Doh!

Doh! I didn’t pay enough attention when I order this cable - wanted a 6’ one not 3’. Totally my fault. Still it’s a good cable. I ended up using it to replace a longer cable that I was already using and used the longer one for the other thing.The BlueRigger braided cable was a bit lighter weight than I was expecting. I’ve been using another brand (which I can’t get anymore) which was much thicker and stiffer. This thinner cable is a lot easier to route between two pieces of equipment. The signal quality seems more than adequate for using between a standard blu-ray player and television. Given the price I paid for it I’m happy with my purchase. Hopefully the next one I order, I’ll pay more attention to the length.
