Bluetooth and Wi-Fi technology are built in, so you can wirelessly stream music any way you prefer, while NFC provides quick and easy pairing. You can start with the sound touch 300 and add other sound touch speakers when you are ready, so you can play the same music in multiple rooms, or different music in each room. And while the sound touch 300 sound bar sounds great by itself, you can add the acoustics 300 wireless bass module and/or virtually invisible 300 wireless surround speakers at anytime to get even more performance and a full 5.1 experience. Place the sound bar on a table below your TV, or save even more space by using the optional wall bracket. It’s all run by a universal remote, so you can control your other devices, too. Included: sound touch 300 sound bar; universal remote.
I moved into a new house and wanted to simplify my home theatre system from the large cumbersome space hog system of receiver, speakers and subwoofer. The Bose Soundtouch 300 and wireless Acoustimass bass module’s minimalist and architecturally aesthetic design look great, fit perfectly into my decor and super easily integrates with my Samsung 8000 TV. It’s like sitting in a movie theatre but we actually listen to music with it more than TV! The app is great for anywhere wifi control and it integrates with Amazon music which is our main source of tunes. Love the set up.BTW, I read lots of reviews where people had issues using HDMI ARC connection from a TV to the soundbar. Maybe these were older and since resolved in firmware updates prior to my purchase, but I have seen none of these issues. It works flawlessly!! I never have to touch the Bose remote since the Samsung remote controls the Bose in conjunction with TV and honestly is an incredible remote design. For music, I never touch a remote. Just use the app on multiple devices. Found an old iphone sitting around gathering dust. Loaded the app and now its our dedicated music controller but can still pull out any of our phones, ipads, etc. and use that app. Whatever is most convenient at the moment. Couldn’t be happier!!
Great sound quality just don’t expect to experience a whole lot of bass if you just buy the SoundTouch 300 on its own. I purchased the Bose SoundTouch 300 as an upgrade to the LG SH4 Soundbar, I wanted audio that was sharper and louder overall and for the most part the SoundTouch 300 delivers in terms of audio quality. The only reason I’m not giving the SoundTouch 300 5 stars is because the bass is seriously lacking, I mean I wasn’t expecting the bass produced from the soundbar itself to be anything overly impressive, but most of the time it was difficult to even notice any bass in songs and movies, despite the bass setting being turned up to its highest level.I have the SoundTouch 300 hooked up to my LG 55UH8500 via HDMI-ARC in order to control the soundbars volume via my TV’s included remote and haven’t had any issues with it so far. Setting up the SoundTouch 300 was a breeze, you just choose the method in which you want to hook it up to your TV HDMI ARC or Optical cable then you go ahead and use the included ADAPTiQ headset to configure the SoundTouch 300 to the acoustics in your living room or bedroom, and it really does make a difference.I highly recommend the SoundTouch 300 to anyone who wants to upgrade their home theater system, but doesn’t want the inconvenience of wires running all over the place, in this case the SoundTouch 300 is perfect and delivers clear crisp audio with the only major con being the weak bass performance which made me drop another 700 on the bass module.ProsCrisp Distortion Free Audio Even At Max VolumeDoes a good job at simulating surround soundLooks and feels like a premium productConsPoor Bass performance which prompted the purchase of the bass module
Super impressed with the bass. (Once I figured out how to turn it up). Perfect for apartment living when you really can’t have a subwoofer shaking the building. I’ll still annoy my neighbors with this baby, but it won’t be unreasonable.
Great sound. Dialogue is crisp and clear on movies., music sounds great, just wish the subwoofer came along with it, or was a little cheaper.
This is a really awesome soundbar. Its height is perfect for not blocking the TV remote signal and really nice looking in front. Very easy to set up and connect. However, I am not able to connect it to my wifi. The sound quality is as expected, crisp and clear. And Bass mode is great. The only thing I hate is the huge remote without backlit option.
Too cool, up to date in technology. The acoustimass 300 and 300 virtual invisible speakers are needed to complete one awesome system.
The sound is amazing. I can’t wait to get the sub unit.
Outstanding sound quality, very easy to set up and use
One of the greatest regrets of my life is not running speaker cable when we remodeled our living room.
Great sound quality with just this sound bar and may add the base box in the future. the instructions are lacking direction on how to increase or decrease the base on the unit.
I bought mine within the Military Exchange, saved quit a bit 599.00 each and 259.00 for surround plus no tax, initial setup using the ADAPTIQ doesn’t automatically sync rear…
The sound is impressive for home theatre, if a bit on the canned side versus the more desired acoustic openness.
Caveat here, I am not an Audiophile so take my sound quality scores with a grain of salt.Regardless, I don’t think I’m entirely dead ear on that point either.
This is, absolutely, unequivocally, the WORST and most REGRETFUL purchases I have ever made. Imagine watching a movie, having a dinner party or a romantic evening and every 2…
The Bose SoundTouch 300 Soundbar is a great choice for the users this was designed to please: for the most part, it delivers the best possible sound quality in the smallest…
Item doesn’t work! can’t sync to the sub, or maybe they are defected!
The good:Stylish and minimalistic at the same time. The soundbar does a good job of providing a surround sound without the associated mess of the whole 5.1 or 7.
