Item shipped to me fast and was easy to install

Item shipped to me fast and was easy to install. Two weeks later the Boss Audio player switches channels at will and and swaps back and forth between bluetooth, AUX, and Radio every few seconds. The controls are completely unresponsive. Basically it’s broken. Not sure if it’s just my player or if this is an issue with all the players.

You get what you pay for

Let me preface this: the sound is amazing compared to my previous aftermarket radio and the bluetooth saved me from my Aux cable issues. The installation wasn’t too bad and when the display works, it looks fine. But the ONLY issue is a persistent one: the display goes crazy and then magically fixes itself after a few days. The rear fuse doesn’t blow but if you replace it, the problem goes away for a while and then resurfaces. I decided to let it be and not replace the fuse because i had done so twice already and then a few days later the display was back to normal and then a while after normal it went nuts again. The display problem didn’t impact the Bluetooth function or the sound quality, it just made it difficult to figure your setttings out and looked bad.For the price, I honestly cannot complain because it makes my car sound great.

BOSS Audio 611UAB working good for now

to start with this radio is under 30.00 bucks second it works for any basic need. i installed in a 96 F150 just to test on how well this radio would work. i have too say im impressed and think this radio is worth the money they are asking for. If you need a simple radio this will work fine. as for the power output I would like to remind you all its under 30 bucks, i believe its putting out around 18-20 watts per channel. with this said im going to leave the radio installed for awhile and keep testing its performance and will update if anything changes as for now its working fine just gets very warm when cranking it for a long time.remember there is no cd player but who really uses them now adays..

for the price its great the blutooth only reaches ab out 10 feet but …

for the price its great the blutooth only reaches ab out 10 feet but for a cheap little radio it’ll do

… this radio to replace a pioneer that had seen better days. Out of the box

Just bought this radio to replace a pioneer that had seen better days. Out of the box: beautiful, looks promising, BLUETOOTH, aux, & radio. That’s about all the good. Got my old radio out of my explorer took out the housing, crimped on the car wiring harness onto the stereo harness, reassembled my dash and turned on… with half a screen. Couldn’t read what station it was on the menu was impossible to navigate but somehow I managed to get to the Bluetooth input and works great so I left it. Sounds okay compared to the old one I pulled out basically got this one as a cheaper fix seeing financials weren’t ready for a higher end radio. After a couple hours after installation gotta run to the store and magically the screen is working completely…relief. Yea until I turned the car off and went to work the next morning and now it looks like something from the matrix. So let’s just say this is really annoying to deal with but whatever it works with Bluetooth and sounds bareable until I can get a new pioneer. Now to the housing mount. The housing mount didn’t fit properly. Got it in the slot and engaged the holding tabs and no matter which tabs where out the housing rattled and bounced. Jimmy rigged it for now but then I slide the radio in and it refuses to lock into the housing so now if I push on the radio even a little the dash got a snack. Then you better not try to move it until it’s been off for a while cause it’s hot. Very hot.All in all don’t expect a high end radio. $30 great for a home DIY Bluetooth Speaker or a cheap car which just needs a working radio but not impress any one. Needless to say but I’ll never buy boss again and I’ll be getting yet another radio is short times notice.

Awesome Deal

Very easy to install and fits well in my 2003 Ford Expedition. Nice sound and I love that its Bluetooth. So easy to pair up with my phone or any other device

Nothing but trouble

Since I’ve gotten it, it has refused to play certain songs on the SD card. I can disconnect the power supply, then it will play all, until I restart my vehicle.Yesterday it quit working altogether. I’ve had it 9 months.

Do not buy.. you get what you pay for

Horrible.. looks great.. installed in my truck and it worked for all of an hour then the screen goes crazy. It will not play MP3 through the USB only through the headphone jack.. sound will only come out of one speaker. Also tried three different adapters and nothing works with the antenna

Five Stars

Amazing

The functionality is still 100% but the screen looks terrible. I’m rather disappointed that this has happened so …

After 1 day, my display went haywire and is impossible to read. The functionality is still 100% but the screen looks terrible.

Ehh..

After 1 day, my display went haywire and is impossible to read. The functionality is still 100% but the screen looks terrible.

Display completely messed up after 2 months

The display stopped working now after 2 months of having this unit

Unit works great and plays mp3 player but No Remote

No Wireless remote. The item clearly states “Wireless Remote” although no remote came with it.

Gets way too hot, but surprisingly has not caught fire.

Do not buy this unless you want to potentially damage your existing speakers, I have had this installed for 3 months, it worked well until the last 2 weeks.

added Bluetooth hands free to 1993 Ford Ranger

Works perfectly in my 1993 Ford Ranger and added Bluetooth hands free

Stereo

I love the stereo but the screen glitches alot works and sounds good with my boss chaos door speakers
