Size:20mm 50pcs | Color:Flat Key Chain 20mm BRCbeads TOP Quality Split Key Chain Ring
BRCbeads Top Quality Gourd Shape Assorted Colors(5 colors) Aluminum Carabiner 45mm(1 4⁄5 inch) Long 5pcs per Bag- Suitable for Camping/Hiking/Fishing/TracvelingThe Headline implies quality that is just not there. These are the flimsiest key holders I have encountered in my lifetime and I am 87. The springs appear to very weak. I would not trust them at all for rugged, outdoor use. I bought and received 5 carabiners and only one ring. The rings sell for $4.99⁄200 on Amazon so it would not wreck the profit margin to provide one per carabiner. The listing makes no mention of any ring so I did not complain. However, I would note that the illustrations confused things somewhat. The warranty is also rather weasel-worded and it is the buyers responsablity to prove that they are not pirated. Nowhere in the packaging or on the product was there any indication of the manufacturer.BRC should stick to the bead business.
I agree with some of the other reviews that the new split key rings are thinner than they used to be, It’s like everything made today. At least they aren’t made of plastic. These still have a decent spring to the metal. I’m sure that if you really put some effort to it you could straighten them out. They are fine for what I do with them ( give them away with my handmade keychains). I have looked and found what appears to be a heavier gauge split ring and will order them to see if it is a better deal.
I used one of these to clip my dog’s leash to a bicycle dog exerciser. My dog doesn’t really pull that much. Next thing I know, my dog is running beside me not hooked up to the bike mount anymore. The carabiner spring had already sprung and it was open hanging there. 2 stars because it probably wasn’t meant to hold any kind of pressure in the first place.
I only use these to hold my keys, and they work just fine. They’re a little small but that’s my fault for not reading the product description - it holds 3 or 4 key rings, so it’s fine. But after about 2 weeks (not everyday use), one has already broken, like the spring to close it snapped or something so when it pushes open it stays open. It might have been a fluke and it’s a multi-pack so I don’t care too much, but I’m not putting any stress on these at all so I would not recommend for any serious use.
When I received these, they were so filthy, I had to wait till I had time to clean them gently with dove soapIf I clipped to my jeans, I would have gotten them, my top, car, purse FILTHY..,AND I DO NOT LIKE Doing extra work for Zero reason.I LOVE Carabiners they help me keep track of keys, purell, mm gauge, corkscrew, u name it… But theseCould be a teeny better quality & a teeny but bigger. One JUST BROKE, without it ever being used.
Much smaller than I expected. They were about an inch. Probably my fault for assuming they weren’t “mini”.
These are low quality and after a bit of use the spring mechanism stopped working. Useable for a permanent clip for light work, but not if you will be clipping and unclipping it much.
I bought the carabiner that advertise at 45mm thick. The carabiner that arrived is only around 35mm thick. False advertising.
great colors and sturdy!
Small, simple , not for heavy things. But worth the price.
They keep my husband from losing his keys.
Light weight, but work well.
My fiancee loved it.
They work great for all kinds of things
Kind of cheap materials
work real
Pretty thin. Not as big as I expected. Class doesn’t easily reclasp and have to line up manually.
comments powered by DisqusI was going to use these for various small things around the house but they are terrible. The deal breaker for me was that they couldn’t even hold a water bottle to my belt…
