not accurate

I realize this is an inexpensive speed gun, though this is still good money, this gun simply isnt accurate, about 7 mph slow from what I read on the internet, I knew something was wrong right away and I found alot of complaining on the internetThe technology this gun uses doesnt accurately pick up a baseball, it picks it up late, makes it seem slower

Good Gun but you might get a faulty one.

I’ve read lots of reviews and it seems it depends on the website. Why? That was my question. On Amazon the reviews are completely all over the place. But go over to B&H Photo and you’ll see all 31 reviews showing great 5 star ratings and reviews. Again Why? baseball equipment websites are also mixed. If you go over to opticsplanet.com it rates a 4.2 star rating. Ok finally I found out why. It depend on two things. One how it’s shipped. This being a radar gun needs to be shipped correctly otherwise it’s going to be thrown around, dropped could even be kicked. B&H has always taken care of how they ship everything. Since they ship all from $30,000 camreas to $2.00 lens covers they take care to ship it right. Amazon at times be shipped by people who can ship it anyway that’s cheepest. Others claim their items are brand new and not Used found problems and repackaged to sell to the unknowing buyer. I bought this from B&H and have used it right along side of a Stalker Radar Sport 2 which cost $499.00 and it was speed for speed the same. Don’t run them side by side because the stronger gun will give and even block the less powerfull gun. Still the less powerfull gun works great for what you want it to. I ran mine on one side of the plate and the Stalker on the other side about 6 feet apart form each gun. 74-74, 66-66, 53-52, 89-90. Don’t buy from a private person and request the shipper take care to ship it at fragile.

Great radar!

I use this primarily for tracking RC car/truck speeds at the local meets on the weekends, when they saw i had this, everyone wanted to see how fast their vehicle went in corners as well as the straight aways, can be used for catching speeders in your neighborhood as well.

Works fine

Not complicated at all. Just aim it at a moving object and it give a clear readout. Cars, balls, even bat swings and anything moving faster that 10 miles an hour.
