In the pictures some show gold plated headers some show normal metal. For the one I received it was in deed gold colored plated headers. I use it to connect my old monitor to a old projector it works perfectly for the length it comes in. My previous cables had connectivity issues because of the long cable length, but this one can handle it.
I ordered this for my wife’s 1st grade classroom so that she can operate her LCD projection unit that sits on a stand in the middle of the classroom from her laptop/teacher area that is to the side of the classroom. The 50 foot length allowed me to route this cable along the front wall in a U shape from laptop to projector. I also used carpet runners and cable floor covers to eliminate trip hazards. The cable arrived quickly thanks to Amazon Prime. I uncoiled it and left it outside in the afternoon sun to make it easier to lay out in my wife’s classroom. It was easy to connect and most importantly my wife was super happy with the set up.
I ordered because I wanted to project movies from my laptop to my projector. I works great. The definition is excellent. The only problem is that I have horizontal lines constantly moving from the bottom to the top of the display. Maybe, due to the length of the cord. Anyone else have this problem? And if so, is the a fix for it? I’m considering purchasing the 25 footer. But, would appreciate some feedback. As I would not like to buy it and have the same problem. Also, when playing on my tv,The picture displays about 3” too far to the left. 3 “ of black screen on the right & 3” of picture cut of on the left. Don’t know if it’s the cable of maybe, the resolution. Anyone, experienced similar, please advise. Thank you.
Bought 2 of these to split and run 2 monitors for Karaoke off my Laptop @ 50” .They work very good.Spoke to Customer Service about something and they were great too, very helpful. I would buy again
Price was good, one end of the cable was slightly bent, we were able to correct and use it.
This VGA cable arrived on time, connected easily, and works perfectly. You couldn’t ask for anything more !!
