Great valve mechanism

It looks like a quality bottle and not cheaply designed/built. Pretty neat valve on the top and what you want water… you’re gunna get water… fast! I was expecting the bottle to be hard plastic - it’s not. It’s squishy. Not a bad thing, just thought i’d mention it incase you thought the same.

GREAT Sports Bottle!

Great water bottle. I love the quality and also the color scheme! I got the red and black one. I have had mine for nearly a year and it still works fine. However, I did remove the rubber nozzle tip because it was annoying to keep clean but even without the nozzle it works just fine. If you have trouble with a smell then I recommend cleaning soaking it in vinegar and water solution. I once tried dishwasher soap but it left a soapy taste for a few days.

No odd plastic taste, reliable, great for indoor spin workouts

This water bottle is great. I’ve had it for a year and use it mainly for indoor spin workouts. The mouth is wide enough to put ice in, although remember this isn’t the insulated version so the bottle will sweat. You have to squeeze to get water out, which means that if you turn it upside down it doesn’t spill.I only put water/ice in mine and have never had a problem with mold in the bite piece, which is surprising because I don’t take good care of it. I often leave water in and forget to wash the bottle until a few days later, or right before my next workout. The water doesn’t smell/taste weird, which has been a problem with every other water bottle I’ve ever had.As other reviewers have mentioned, it makes a quiet but weird hissing/screaming noise sometimes if you are using ice, and the ice melts creating suction on the inside. If you “burp” it by squeezing once it goes away. I never notice while I’m working out because of other noise, but if you’re doing yoga or something quiet I can see where it might be annoying.

I don’t like the updated version of the top

The top open/closed spout on one of the two bottles would only spin and not lock into open or closed. Had to send the one back to be replaced. I don’t like the updated version of the top. The older bottles I have still work great, but I wanted a second set for my bike. Will see how long these last and maybe I would increase my rating.

Can’t go wrong. It’s a water bottle.

Edit: Can’t believe I’m editing a water bottle review. But this bottle for me out performs the Polar water bottle. The Polar water bottle can leak if not very tightly screwed on. Haven’t had issues with this bottle. Also the lock works very well. The Polar bottle is also much taller which can interfere storage in certain bags/bikes. I have two bottle holders on my bike and put the podium in either. The Polar bottle has to go in one particular one due to its height. Will still use the polar bottle but in the future will look to the podium as a replacement so i upped it to 5 stars.Works very well. I can see where it may be able to be thoroughly cleaned but might not be easy enough for a lazy person like me. A lot of people have stated how this bottle shoots a bunch of water into their mouth. That doesn’t really impress me as it’s hard for it to stay there. Not a huge deal. It’s a water bottle and works fine. Works in standard cages on a bike and the Topeak Modula 2. I used on a 30 mile ride. Tried squeezing pretty hard while lockout out and no leaks. I also purchased a polar insulated bottle i’m “excited” to try out. As the polar should keep cooler longer. Not a bad bottle though.

Perfect in every way

These bottles are perfect in every way. This is not rocket science after all… It is a water bottle :-) These bottles do what a water bottle should do and it is amazing that some bottles from other companies fail at these simple requirements. These bottles are no spill, easy to drink from, easy to squeeze, add no taste, and cleanup quick. The only thing that would make them better is if they also came in a smaller size (¹⁄₂ liter maybe) that could easily slip inside a backpack or car drink holder (they do fit in car drink holders just barely but stick up way too high).

Bicycle Bottle That Doesn’t Leak

After realizing that all of our bicycle bottles were really old, I suspected that they must be made of BPA. So I went on a hunt for a replacement that was free of toxic plastics. I didn’t come across many choices. After asking other purchasers if this was good as a bicycling bottle and they confirmed it was, I purchased one. This bottle is superior to my previous bicycle bottles as it doesn’t leak. You have to squeeze for the water to come out of the top, even when the nozzle is turned to open. I like that it doesn’t leak easily, but I don’t like have to squeeze it into my mouth when I want to drink water. But when I weighed the two: leaking vs having to squeeze, I found that I prefer that it doesn’t leak. I recommend this product to others.

Much improved; best bottle available

Better bottle than last year, larger drinking valve and improved flow. Easy on off and doesn’t leak at all. It is the best I’ve used. Highly recommended

A better moustrap? Yup

This is the only product I’ve ever given 5 stars. Why? It doesn’t leak. I like to use sports drinks that can make everything sticky.
