Product Reviews

Overpriced - but top quality

I have purchased off-brand batteries in the past as second batteries for my cameras. I was particularly satisfied with Opteka ones. However, for my new Canon EOS 7D Mark II I just didn’t want to take any chances. Additionally, if you look at it through the lifetime of the battery (for me, 4 - 5 years) the price differential only amounts to a few dollars a year. Yes, the Canon batteries are VASTLY OVERPRICED - but what are you going to do? Their batteries are far less likely to have any problems and are recognized by the camera so you can also see the remaining charge level while using them and don’t get a surprise with a dead battery just in the middle of shooting something important.

These are really a great upgrade from the older model and worth every penny.

Great new battery, updated version of the LP-E6, and it simply lasts for over a thousand clicks, easily, and you can combine video in there. In the past with the old LP-E6, after about a thousands shots on the 5D Mark 2 you’d be nearing a battery change (maybe sooner) and video, every 15-20 minutes you’d need a new battery (maybe longer). These are really a great upgrade from the older model and worth every penny.

Pricey but worth it.

Needed a pair of these to replace the older LP E6’s that I had been using for a while in the battery grip. They hold a charge much better than the E6’s.

No to cheaper OEMs. Buy original product lines

For me it’s better to have an original product line regardless of price than cheaper OEMs due to lithium battery problems and inconsistencies in charging that’s flooding the market which can also catch on fire or blow-up along with the camera equipment, including voiding the warranty

Works as expected

Works very well, I do not trust the Canon imitation batteries, I have heard mixed reviews so I bought this and it works fine.

Just buy oem canon batteries I tried the after market …

Just buy oem canon batteries I tried the after market and one registers that it will charge and when I put it in nothing so I am sticking with or sure they cost 3 times more but no matter never had an issue with them.

Canon LP-E6N Battery Pack

I have a Canon 5D and the factory batteries seem to be the best product to use. I would suggest this to anyone who uses canon cameras. I have heard there are issues with non OEM equipment.

I would not waste my time purchasing an off brand when it comes to batteries. The quality of Canon’s batteries are unmatched even though I do hate the price tag. The battery lasts about a 10 hour shoot day depending.

Good reliable product.

Works fine and I trust Canon batteries, very reliable and durable. Not too happy about the price, but I guess its worth it.

Great must have

These are essential

Good Purchase

Super stoked on this battery because it works just as well as the Canon battery our Canon 5d Mark iv came with!

Five Stars

Great like it. It’s the original one didn’t want to tack a chance on other brands.

let’s see how long these lasts… Original …

let’s see how long these lasts… Original batteries for a Canon 6D were no longer charging. Went w/ Canon brand again, expensive…

Five Stars

Excellent

Five Stars

Factory new! Works as it should!

It worth buying the factory batteries. All the aftermarket …

It worth buying the factory batteries. All the aftermarket batteries stop holding a decent charge after a few months and these factory batteries last for years.

Fake? Canon seems to think so.

I purchased two of these batteries from the same seller. I use them for multiple months without any problems.

Works great. Egregiously overpriced.

I’ve used many generics, and none work as well or as long as the Canon brand. I’m knocking off 1 star for the egregious price. It’s absolute usury.
