You don’t have much choice so grin and bear it!

I bought a new Canon PowerShot SX 720 and discovered by reading the literature that if you buy a generic battery you will not get an accurate reading of how much of a charge you have left! Canon joins that consumer friendly club of making sure that if you don’t buy their aftermarket products you will not get full use of cameras features. On the positive side I have noticed with other Canon products that their battery lasts longer in their products then the generics even though the specifications are the same.

I recently bought a new Canon SX720 HS camera and it takes the NB-13L style battery. In the past I’ve had trouble with small rechargeable batteries for my various cameras so I don’t have much faith in them. I purchased this battery from Amazon as a spare or back-up. It arrived in good time and in very good shape. From all out ward appearance this battery appears to be a genuine Canon battery; some of the counterfeits out there now daysare hard to spot. But as I said this one looks genuine.

Spare Battery always a need.

A must have for backup. Always get the same battery as the original. Worth the price when you really need it.

Great battery. Battery life compares to the original battery that came with camera. I had tried a non-canon brand of battery and couldn’t take more than 20 pictures and it had to be recharged. With this battery I can take dozens before it needs to be recharged.
