LOVE the zoom on this camera
LOVE the zoom on this camera!! I’m a concert/WWE gore and while I sit pretty close for both, it’s still nice to have that amazing, clear zoom! The zoom is so amazing it’s like I was literally right in front of my subject. Extremely happy with my purchase

Great little camera. Fits nicely in my purse. The pictures are clear. I only wish it had a panoramic shot.

The camera is amazing. I caught a chipmunk at about 50 feet, filling about 2⁄3 of the image and I could see the reflection of a nearby dogwood tree in his/her eye. It’s simple to use, the stabilization works, low light is good, autofocus works well but takes a little getting used to. I had intended to ding the rating on this camera due to the requirement of an external charger but fell in love with it.I had looked to see if it required one but must have missed that in the description on-line. Who makes a $300 point and shoot camera that can’t charge from a USB? (Canon, obviously..). So, if I’m out driving in the mountains and run out of power, I just turn around and head home, right? Come, Canon!!!

Been using this camera for almost a year now. Great camera for the price fun and easy to use.Picture using normal settings , pre sunset light and flash.
A Small But Powerful Camera
I bought this camera because I wanted something small, much smaller than my Nikon and all the lens. A camera that was portable that I could take to places and events that I wouldn’t be able to take my Nikon I’m happy to report that this camera passed the test. It has an awesome 40xs optical zoom which is what caught my attention. Now the camera is small and fits right into the palm of your hand. When using the zoom, it was a task just trying to get it focused because it was really hard to keep the camera straight. But I’m starting to get the hang of it and have taken some amazing photos with this camera using the zoom. The camera also took some great photos in low light as well. Of course I sharpened them up in Lightroom but to be honest I do that with all photos that I take. The only negative that I had is the battery life. I shot many photos during an afternoon with the grandkids at a theme park recently and the battery that I had charged before I went….died. I attribute that to the lens opening and the zoom….Be sure to buy an extra batter and you should be fine. This camera is for folks that just want to downsize from the big multi lens cameras and lighten up your load a bit.
Great Point & Shoot Camera
This is a very good point-and-shoot camera. The photos are very good. The zoom is amazing, much better than I had hoped, but still not as clear as a heavy telephoto lens would be. Fits in my pocket easily. Took this camera to Iceland and got incredibly good photos. Great battery life also. And the video is awesome sharp.

The camera is great and the zoom works fantastic. The seller should have let people know up front that the warranty is not USA, which is why they can sell the camera ~$50 less than others. Mind you I saw it in one of the questions and I don’t mind as I have yet to have a point and shoot have a problem that I would want to hassle returning. I just feel being honest is better; that’s why I didn’t give it 5 stars.
easy to use right out of the box
easy to use right out of the box. Needless to say, the most sophisticated features do take awhile to learn and incorporated into daily uses. While the anti-shake could be a bit better, holding a small 40x camera still at extreme telephoto is a real challenge, use a tripod or another steadying opportunity. All in all a great cameera
