Fairly nice camera, but not as great as I’d hoped …

Fairly nice camera, but not as great as I’d hoped or as reviews and research had indicated. Blacks show up a little grainy, no matter what light. Battery life is good, weight is fairly good for the size. Will work temporarily, but will be upgrading to a better camera ASAP. Would probably be fine for home recordings, but not so good for anything else.

Great camera

It was a good deal for a refurbished camera in excellent condition! Works amazing. I use it for filming surfing with my son.

Canon Vixia HF R700

Very nice product. Did a lot of searching before deciding on this one. Maintains a good focus when shooting at a distance. Does average for white balance inside. You can calibrate and make it do well, but the white balance is so close, I saw no need to do the special calibration. One of the requirements for me was the hdmi output. Sometimes we tie 2 event arenas together. The sound is easy to cross over. Now the video running through hdmi/sdi adapters goes about 100 feet to 2 70” monitors.
