Don’t buy this

This item only lasted a month. A few weeks ago started to fall apart. The first thing that stated to go was the white cap at the top of the charger. And now the grey fitting came off while I was taking it out of the charging port. Also the tip at the end has fallen inside.

Mediocre

I find the others I have had stay in and I never worried about a connection but this double one which I was thrilled about getting seems to slip somehow in the car and isn’t charging up steady like others single ones I have had, I have to constantly look to see if its light is on and charging and I have found it is NOT always on and has to be repositioned …

This product is not what you think it is. Notice how the picture they show doesn’t list the Amp output. I took a photo so you can see the truth. The description reads 3.1 amp total output. But that’s if you are using both power ports. What charging cable allows you to use both? This is a scam and if you look at recent reviews there are several 1 star ratings. Very misleading product, sending it back.

PIECE OF JUNK! DOESNT WORK

Received on Tuesday and opened today for use in my car with my iPhone 6. This is a piece of JUNK!! Does not charge phone or even work. I will be demanding a refund

Shuts off constantly

At first I thought my kiddos were kicking it out since it was plugged in the back seat while we were on a long drive, but I moved it to the front and it keeps shutting off. Not sure if it’s loose in the charging port. My husband and I watched it turn off several times in only a matter of five minutes. It was also extremely hot and I had to unplug it. Disappointing purchase.

Amazon basics = basically garbage.

I bought this thinking that a Amazon branded device would be good quality. It held up okay for the first 4 months of daily use, then slowly began to fall apart. First the sticker saying which port was the full 2.1A fell off. Next the plastic cover on the top fell off. Now the aluminum collar has fallen off. It still works, which is why I gave it 2 stars. I would avoid this junk though.You want a higher powered charger anyways for a new phone. 2.1 A is slow charging 2010 technology. Look up to see what rapid charging your phone supports and buy one of those instead.

Only a 2.1 amp output in one port, read the fine print.

It was disappointing when I received the product to find out that the output was really only 2.1 amp and not 3.1 amps as I was expecting for faster charging. The build quality seems to be ok for now, I will see how long it holds up.

Seems to work fine. It looks nice and the lights are nice. After it was shipped I received an email stating the things can spark and get extremely hot if you have them plugged into the charger slot while starting the car. Seems like its mostly talking about older cars, and I haven’t had such a problem. But be wary. That information should probably have been conveyed to me before I bought the thing.
