Will fit the new Canon Powershot Elph 340 HS 16MP

First off, This will hold a new Canon Powershot Elph 340 HS 16MP . The wife spent a lot of time looking to match internal and external measurements to find a matching purple camera case for the new elph 340. She wanted something that was a snug, perfect fit so it wouldn’t take up more room in her backpack than needed and this was it! Matches color and fits like a glove. Doesn’t leave room for much else, but there are lots of other cases on the market with room for goodies.

This will hold the Canon PowerShot ELPH 340 HS 16MP Digital Camera (Purple). It is an almost exact snug fit for the camera, and has just a little space for a few business cards. We keep the camera lanyard attached to the camera, and do not tuck it into the case; instead we zipper closed the case up to the lanyard and let it dangle out of the case. Excellent little case - extremely durable and easy to open/close. The color is very distinctive and perfect for the camera.

Works for Small Point & Shoots. NOT Recommended for a Canon G9x

I bought this in hopes of putting my G9x into it. The camera will fit. It will be extremely tight fitting but you can get it in. Downfall of this case is you are unable to utlize the extra space for a battery. There is just zero room. Also your zipper WILL mark up the edges of your camera in time so if you are like me I’d recommend staying away from this case. I have 2 other cases I have reviewed for the G9x but even they have faults to them. This is perfect for my small point & shoot canons and a battery but I already have cases for them so this isn’t needed. See my pictures for fit. In one of the pictures it can be zipped fully but the tag is in the way of the zipper and I wasn’t going to remove it since I’m planning to return it.

I love this case

I love this case. I’ve had Elph cameras for years, and this is the first case that’s ever really fit one properly. I use it because of that, and maybe it will keep me from breaking another camera! Sides are sturdy, zippers work well and it’s just the best. It’s a great case, and yes I would buy it again.

Nice case for Canon PowerShot Elph 360 HS

Fits the Canon PowerShot Elph 360 HS perfectly however with no room to spare for anything else. Fits easily in most pockets and the purple color matches the purple camera nicely. Very pleased with this case and very reasonably priced.

Compact Camera Case

This is a very nice hard-shell case for a compact digital camera. (It will only fit a small point-and-shoot, not a DSLR.)First of all, it’s a lovely shade of purple! Very bright and cheerful-looking. It has a double zipper, which is a little annoying, because it takes longer to unzip both sides, but the zipper itself has large pulls, which are easy to use. It includes a narrow strap, which seems a bit too long for a wrist-strap, and a bit too short for a neck-strap. Not sure how you’re supposed to use it, honestly. I certainly wouldn’t want to wear this case around my neck—it’s hard as a rock!Be aware that this is a very small case. My camera is a brand-new Samsung WB35F, which is the smallest digital camera I’ve ever owned. Yet, there must be smaller cameras out there, because it just barely fits in the case. I have to work the zipper to get it closed.All in all, I’m pleased with this case. I wanted something to protect my new camera, and I wanted it to be purple—this fits the bill perfectly! Four stars and recommended for anyone who has a compact digital camera that needs protecting.

Dimensions may be right but what’s inside makes it smaller than advertised

Not as big as I would have liked. I went off the size posted in the description and sized my Canon PowerShot SX600 as well for fit. There should have been an inch to spare, but if there is then conventional inches aren’t what they used to be. :-) In other words, a bit more snug than I would like. But adequate and small enough to allow me to throw it into my purse without fear of too much bulk or possible damage to the camera

Great for Canon Elph 340 HS or Elph 150 IS, 135, 140 etc.

Great case for a Canon 340 HS. Thanks to the previous reviewers for doing the research and following up with their camera type in the recommendation! This is a semi-hard shell case. Very stiff and compact. As previous reviewer said, you can use the camera’s strap by leaving it out of case’s zipper for carrying, or the cameras strap will fit in the case (there’s room for it) and you can attach the case’s strap that come with it.Would be good for an Canon Elph 150 IS as well (which is a hair smaller than the 340 HS).
