Perfect for Canon SX700

Nearly a perfect fit for my Canon SX700. Plenty of padding protection. Carabiner ring is a plus. Side pocket will easily accommodate several NBL-6 batteries and/or memory cards, as well as a (short length) mini-USB cable.

Fits Olympus XZ-1 well, plenty of spare room without being too big, room for extra memory cards & batteries

My Olympus XZ-1 was a great deal that I want to protect while having extra space for a couple extra batteries and SD cards. This case works perfectly for that. And it’s cheap.I’m using a wrist strap which is very small, but there’s plenty of room for a shoulder strap (like the one that comes with the camera). I expect there’s room for the automatic lens cover (the Auto Lens Cap that folds out and the Olympus LC-63A Lens Cap one) as well. The wrist strap works nicely hanging out of the case so I can still keep it on my wrist with the case on or off.The zipper pulls are a little janky, but likely quite sturdy. Maybe I’m just spoiled after looking at nice rain jackets at REI yesterday. Not a real complaint, just a note. The little aluminum carabiner is a nice touch, but it’s nothing I’d depend on to hold up to much tension. It’s fine, I’d rather they left it out and lowered the price $.50, but maybe others like it.Personally, I’d rather have a slightly smaller case, maybe a quarter inch smaller in all dimensions. But for those with a strap, it’s perfect.

Big quality in a little case…

After thinking about it a bit, I came to realize that I’ve used a lot of Case Logic gear over the years. Hard Drive cases, CD cases, thumb drive cases, and the list goes on. However, this is one of the first compact camera cases that I’ve bought, and I did a ton of searching to find the perfect one, and wouldn’t you know it? Case Logic. I came into an estate and there were a lot of time that I kept and that I wanted to protect. I’m a DSLR user, and don’t typically go for compact cameras, but I got a couple of cameras and one was a Canon A590. The camera’s a little older, and not the best in the world, but the image quality is decent, and more importantly it takes AA batteries which you can buy anywhere. That’s a plus for me in a compact camera.I wanted a case that was small enough to wear out of the way on my belt. The camera’s pretty compact, and I could carry it in a jacket pocket, but in the summer, you need a case because it’s a bit large for pants pockets. After much searching and comparing, I found this case. It has the belt loop on the back, but more importantly, it’s a real loop, not a strap with a snap or velcro on the end. Those can come off your belt too easily. Not this one. I’ll stay on there.I got lucky with this case to be honest. It fits the A590 perfectly. The case couldn’t be any smaller and still work. There is a front pocket, but it’s fairly small as well. The most you can fit in there would be a couple of AA batteries and an SD card or two. The dimensions listed on their site are true to spec, so this case turned out to be the exact size I needed without any unnecessary left over space. Even so, it’s padded well, and provides ample protection for the camera. And just a little extra for you is a carabiner style clip that you can use if you don’t have a belt. That would work nice for those you are hiking and just clip it on their daypack or backpack. For the money, this case is a bargain, and is exactly what I wanted and have come to expect from Case Logic.

Love this case!!! Great for my Canon G9X

This case is exactly what I was looking for my camera, Canon Powershot G9X Mark II!First of all, it’s horizontal which is pretty hard to find. It’s roomy, not snug and this is exactly what I wanted. I ordered a strap to carry camera on my neck ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01N5HCGRY/ref=yo_ii_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and wanted a case that would not be too big and fit camera WITH this strap inside. I carry my camera with me everywhere, mostly in purse that has thousand other items so I really didn’t want to risk my camera. This case is the best I’ve tried!Quality is great, light weight. It also has a small pocket with hidden zipper on the front of the case. Extra battery and extra memory card would fit inside and its pretty much it. Not very easy to access this pocket, but still very handy to have.I probably will de-attach the hook from the back of the case since I don’t see use for it other than that nothing really to change or wish for in this case. I would love other colors too!I took pictures for better understanding. Please note Canon G9X is a very small camera and without realizing the size case might look too big.

> SMALL

QUALITYNicely made. Probably best worn from a belt loop, but the removable carabineer (a nice touch) allows other options, such as from a woman’s purse strap, or a belt loop.TOO SMALLNormally, I consider it the buyer’s responsibility to get the necessary measurements of the product and measure their gear to determine if it will fit. However, on one of the Amazon listings for this case (there are multiple), there is a photo of a Panasonic Lumix DX camera being placed into one of these cases. So, I expected it to fit my Panasonic Lumix DX7—it doesn’t, not even remotely, you couldn’t force it in. If this is a “medium” I can’t imagine what Case Logic thinks is “small”.CONVENIENCEThe zippered slot opening is much less convenient than a flap (zippered or not)—you have to fight the zipper-sides of the slot getting the camera out or putting it in.OTHER OPTIONSSince the case only holds a camera (and maybe a spare battery/memory card), it is worth considering the old-fashioned leather cases that are available for most cameras these days—which are MUCH more convenient. If you happen to have a Nikon Coolpix, you can buy wonderful little holster cases which are barely larger than the camera and quite literally open/close with a touch.> Click on “Stoney” just below the product title to see my other reviews, or leave a comment to ask a question.

Best Case!

Love this! Fits great in my purse and is a perfect fit for my Canon PowerShot SX730 HS. I store my extra battery in the front pocket so it’s always there if I need it.
