Try taking photos with your cell phone through the microscope.

Great slides. We have used them to look at all kinds of things. Our kids like to collect things from the yard and the pond then look at them under the microscope. We usually just rinse them and reuse but sometimes the sample is just gross so we toss them. For the price they are a great value and we don’t mind throwing some out. One fun thing you can do is to take a photo through the microscope with your cell phone. Line up your cell camera and tilt it just right until you see though the lens, then hold your hand around it to darken out everything else. If you line it up just right you will be able to take a photo of your sample. Kind of fun, especially for the kids.

Great for school

Used these for a microbiology class & they did the job. They arrived in great condition, none broken. Some looked like they had dust or some kind of residue that could be wiped off, but I washed all of mine with soap & water before using & had no issues.

Nice finish and design

These slides have round convex depression in the center which is great for centering you specimen, and I believe the lens-effect of it amplifies light. They have a high quality precision feel to them, and you cant beat the price. I would recommend-

Purchased this for daughter, as birthday gift, with the microscope AmScope M150C-I. She loves both… “just like the ones at the lab in summer STEM Camp!” Recommended!

No complaints, good price.

I bought this to for my microbiology course at the community college. These slides are exactly what was needed, I rarely use the covers, but it is nice that they were included. I could not find anything wrong with these slides and covers, most of the people in my class bought the same ones. If you need some slides and covers this might be the best deal around if you are too lazy to drive to a store like me.

Shattered upon arrival!

I purchased this for my son for his birthday. I had it wrapped and didn’t check the quality. When my son opened his gifts (which was a microscope set), half of these slides were shattered. We had tiny broken glass everywhere! Very unhappy with this purchase. Would have returned it, had I known its poor quality.

Good but cover slips need to be cleaned

It’s convenient to get cover slips and slides in the same package but it’s not so convenient to get dirty cover slips that really need to be cleaned up before being used. Other than that, the slides are fine and perfect for student use and I’m glad they ship 100 covers with the 72 slides since they are fairly fragile.I would have given 5-stars if the cover slips were useable out of the box.

Perfect for our homeschool science lessons. We have had so much fun creating slides and looking at different types of dirt, fruit, plants, and any other things that pop into my second grader’s head.
