Great replacement and maybe I just got a bad one …
Fits my Garmin 2599 perfectly. The only problem I have is that the suction cup does not hold. It keeps falling off of my windshield after a few minutes. The fit is tight and appears to be well made. Great replacement and maybe I just got a bad one or maybe it just needs some time to work itself in. I will update this review if it start sticking consistently.

My original device for sticking my GPS to the window got accidentally left in a rental car, which thoroughly ticked me off. I wondered if I’d EVER be able to find a replacement. I poured over all kinds of these sorts of things in Amazon and got really confused about which one would be the right one. But took the gamble on this one. It was truly the right one, and works PERFECTLY GREAT. Hallelujah.
Exactly the same as the Garmin.
Fits my 2557LMT perfectly. I drove across PA. NY and CONN last night and the GPS never moved a inch. Use rubbing alcohol to clean the suction cup and this new cradle to extend life to my GPS. It is exactly the same as the Garmin.

Good replacement for the one that I lost
Good replacement for the one that I lost. it does what it should do. One downside is that it does not fit and click quite like the original one does, just needs a bit of an extra push to plug it in. Other than that, it does the job.

Doesn’t work
I ordered the part compatible with 42LM, that is advertised as not compatible with the Nuvi 65. I was sent a part that says it is compatible with Nuvi 65, and will not work.
Does not fit Garmin 42
I have a garmin 42. While the part did fit the actual device, it does not fit the original mount for the device. As a result, there’s nothing in can do with this item.
Doesn’t work with portable friction mount
Although it’s shown as “frequently purchased together,” this unit does not fit on the Garmin friction mount. It does snap into my Garmin, but that’s only half the solution.
