suitable for 7” GPS models, non-slippery on curved dashboard. Recommend to use with flexibility of placement and wider view.for some mode that has power cord in the center, you may need to open to the max and place the GPS in the 2nd row. It works for me.

They should have added: Any cell phone, GPS unit and up to 7” tablets. I use it for my 7” tablet, it fits, “Open very, very wide, Mr. Mount”.The Beanbag is heavy enough that it will not slide around on your dash, and the bottom is covered with a slightly sticky surface. This sticky coating is just enough to help keep the mount from moving around. The sticky stuff doesn’t stick to you or your clothes enough to be a problem. If you drop it in the dirt, just wash it off. The jaws open wide, just wide enough, for my 7” tablet, a 5” cell phone or GPS unit is a snap. My 7” tablet is three years old and is much thicker and heavier than today’s 7” tablets, it still fits. The wider the jaws are opened the tighter it grips the unit.This is the first dash mount that I can just throw on the dash, point it towards the driver, off I go. This mount is built to last, don’t have to worry about any suction cups coming loose, plastic bracket mounts breaking, or having your cell phone, GPS unit or tablet, fall on the car floor.Before, I started out with a suction cup mount that immediately kept falling off the dash. Then I added a separate beanbag base that the suction cup mounted on. After a while the suction cup kept falling off the beanbag onto the floor. The beanbag had be placed in a stationary position. Either of these systems never gave the convenience of slipping a unit into or out of it without the suction cup coming separated from the surface that it was attached to. Lick, lick, stab it on the dash, sun dries it, it falls on the floor.We have a Chrysler 300C and a Corvette, this is why I used a portable 7” tablet for GPS, I can use the mount in both vehicles, without any fuss and little effort. The mount stays put, even in the Corvette on a rally event, I am not a slow driver, even though I am retired.

Great GPS holder. Fits my 7inch truckers tablet nicely. Received it on the morning we went on a overnighter so I hade a chance to try it out right away.My first concern was if my 7 inch (4.24×7.5 out side dems) truckerstablet GPS would fit. And it did with no problem at all.Next, if it would slide around, it stayed in place. In fact, I reposition it several times for a better view and it held that position until I relocated it againThis is large enough and heavy enough to hold my 7inch GPS solid. It may be a little hard to open all the way for a 7inch GPS but it won’t move a bit. NOTE, MY 7INCH TRUCKERSTABLET FIT NICE BUT MY RAND MCNALLY TND720 DIDN’T FIT AT ALL.For me, I think this is a great GPS mount, holds the GPS unit tight, doesn’t move around like bean bag mounts, EZ to adjust while driving to keep the glare off the screen, installs and breaks down in seconds,and can go from car to car to truck with no effortI love it, the best GPS mount ever

Absolutely the BEST GPS/Phone dashboard holder I have ever seen. I took it on an out-of-state trip and used it for both a TomTom GPS and my cell phone (using the Maps and for my Amazon music app) and I couldn’t glue it down as I was renting the car for the trip. I had NO problem at all with it moving around even unsecured as it has a decent weight to it. I wish I would have had this years ago when I depended on GPS a lot more than I do now. It would have saved me many an aggravating time trying to re-secure the GPS holder pieces I had at the time either to the base or to the window.THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. BUY IT. PERFECT FUNCTIONAL ITEM
Love the design of this item; held my unit perfectly and stays secure on the dashboard. The back of the unit is not exposed to the sun and the wire hangs freely from the side. Perfect gadget; Highly recommend it.

I have an older GPS and couldn’t find anything to fit it to save my life! Finally came upon this little creature and it works great! I have a curvy dashboard and thought it might not work well, as I could not affix the bottom tape they have. However, it’s weighted in such a way that you don’t need the tape to keep it stable. I took it out for a test drive, round some really sharp curves, and the most it did was shift a little. It never fell off the dashboard. It never got so wonky that I couldn’t fix it in a second. Just drove to a friends for the weekend, 3.5 hours on all kinds of roads, and it remained stable the whole time. The other great thing is that when you park your car you just take it off the dashboard and put it on the floor of your vehicle, away from prying eyes. Something you couldn’t do if you affixed it. I’m buying one for a friend who has a bad habit of putting her iphone on the seat between her legs and then frantically picking it up when she’s not sure of the directions. She’ll love this. Super happy with this thing!
Excellent Purchase
I looked for at ideas and products to get rid of my window mounted gps setup. I have not had a problem, have dash matt that helps hold this in place.
