The Mini DisplayPort 1.2 Cable to HDMI 2.0 Active Adapter is the easiest solution for connecting your Mini DisplayPort 1.2 enabled Game PC or Laptop to an HDMI 2.0 enabled 4K UHD Television, monitor or Projector. The adapter is fully compliant to HDMI 2.0 specification allowing for 6Gbps TMDS throughput per channel. The interface in the adapter has three lanes for HDMI data, clock, HPD signal and power, offering a total TMDS throughput of 18Gbps. Supports up to 4K UHD Resolution at 60Hz.

Good quality, works as advertised!

I was having some trouble getting my PC to feed 4k 60hz over hdmi, but this cable allowed me to use DP to acheive that. Good quality cable, worked exactly as advertised. If you’re looking for 4k gaming on your tv from your pc, and you’d like higher than the 30fps hdmi will allow, this cable will do the trick.Note: I have a Sony Bravia 4k tv (2016); I did have to enable “Extended HDMI” on the input for this to work. The manual Club3D included has several troubleshooting tips, one of which was this.

Breaks after a while - Beware!

Have used this cable for about 3 months with my MacbookPro 15inch Mid 2015 and SwitchresX at 3840x2160@60Hz, but then it stopped working.Here is what happened:After coming home from a vacation (I had unplugged all devices) I reconnected everything. It first only started to run at 30Hz, then it started turning the screen off for a few seconds every few minutes which is really annoying to work with. A few days later, it completely froze my mac just when inserting the cable.I am not sure if it had anything to do with the TV and Macbook being completely switched off at the mains, but I can no longer use it. Other users have reported similar problems with this cable as well.Now, I am trying to see if I can get a replacement for the faulty cable and am hoping that the first one was just a Monday model and not a general flaw of this cable.

No good - cable and its replacement both died.

The first one failed after a couple of weeks - the monitor suddenly just went black. The replacement one worked for about two months and then it did the same thing. One failure doesn’t get a 1-star from me, because these things happen sometimes even to good products. Two failures so quickly either means the design is faulty or the quality control is terrible. In case anyone cares, I was using it to connect a Samsung 4K TV to a Quadro 620 workstation graphics card. Seemed to work great until it didn’t.

Awesome - 4K laptop/docking station (DisplayPort 1.2 - Windows 8.1) driving a 4K (HDMI @ 60Hz) - works as advertised

This cable allows a Dell Precision 7710 + docking station (display port 1.2) to drive a 43” 4K TV (HDMI @ 60Hz - full color). Awesome. just what was needed.

It simply works at 4K@60hz!

It works with my GTX1080 STRIX video card at 3840x2160 60hz and even at 4096 x 2160 60hz, my tv is a LG 7700 65inch HDR and Dolby Vision.Very few HDMI cable work, specially gaming, but this display port and HDMI worked perfectly, I had to buy it from Amazon USA I am from Mexico glad it worked. It enables RGB complete range and 4:4:4 limited, both at 4K@60hz

Doesn’t do what I thought

Just hooked this up hoping to get 60hz out of my 4k tv with a r9 390, but my screen goes in in and out making a loud snapping noise every second or so.
