This is the perfect case!

This case is perfect. It is a hard sided case that fits my Garmin Nuvi 2597 GPS, the suction cup and the power cable. One side has a super soft separate section for the GPS to keep it from getting scratched and is held secure by a Velcro strap and the other side has a zippered section that fits the cable and suction cup piece plus it has room for other things if I wanted to store other small items. It keeps it all separated and safe and the case fits perfectly in the center console of my car. I have been buying cases that would work until I could find something better but now my search is over; I’ve found the best one for the job.

Great gps case!

I have a Garmin nuvi 55 and it fit perfectly. The cable, the suction cup mount, and the round connector piece to the back of the gps all fit in there with no problem. Its definitely a good quality case and I recommend it.

In the Wrong Bag

I wanted to get the larger bag for my 7 inch GPA but I did not read the very “busy” description of the item very closely. I received the 5 inch GPS bag. Rather than return and have to pay for postage I kept it for my smaller GPS. All of the extra parts, cable, window mount and GPS fit into the bag. I had to remove the ball connection to get it to fit. Seems like the hard shell will give protection to the GPS. My only negative would be the color. I like the black to camouflage it when i place in in the back seat floor but it is harder for me to see. So which is that Pro or Con, you make that choice. I am not sure about the hand strap that is connected at the zipper. Perhaps a stronger hand strap would be better. Any Amazon item that states “fulfilled by Amazon” means you will get that item very quickly.

Good As Long As You Are Storing Cords

I debated the stars on this. First it’s exactly as advertised, a nice hard shell case. It’s lined with a soft gray material - the top part holds my Garmin 2598 snugly (without the little detachable ball socket). In one netted pocket on that divider I put the socket, the other the strap. Inside the larger bottom I’ve put the power cord and USB cord. Now, here’s my issue. That bottom net has a zipper across the middle. It actually makes it difficult to slide bulkier items in and out. I can squeeze in a mount (ARKON GN079WD) as well, but I feel like a few times of doing that I’m going to rip something as it’s awkward trying to get something like that in and out through the small separation allowed by the zipper. I’m thinking it might just make sense to cut that netting out, but then it won’t look as nice…well you see the dilemma. I didn’t want give it four stars when it’s not an all in one solution. However, once I add a second cord (traffic receiver/backup camera) then a mount was never going to fit anyway, and in that case would deserve four stars. So, because it’s so nicely made and sturdy, going to give it four, but keep in mind that center zip design is going to be frustrating for anything other than cords (and still is even with those).

Bigger on the inside than on the outside??

This case is reasonably well made. There are two zippers to close it, which is a nice feature. The case is a hard-enough shell that it will protect the contents if the case is dropped or put under pressure in luggage for example. It feels as if the stiffening is molded plastic, however, and I doubt it would withstand serious crushing forces like metal would.My main reason for writing this review is to report on the case’s capacity for the accessories. Some answers to questions posed by customers indicated that the suction-cup holder for the GPS unit would fit in the case but not the weighted mount. I followed the suggestion of several reviewers and carefully cut away the zippered net over the large compartment. With the GPS itself in the smaller padded compartment, I could fit the weighted holder, power plug, and cord all in the larger compartment. It zipped shut easily, with no strain on the zippers. This may be very dependent on the style of the weighted holder, so I have attached photos to show the Garmin nuvi weighted base, and everything packed into the large compartment of the case.I may still pick up a suction-cup holder before my trip just because the weighted base is so darn heavy, but I have the option–everything does fit in this hard-shell case!

Perfect for my purpose

This items was for my Garmin GPS. The box can fit the GPS and the cables and windscreen suction cup holder with magnetic connector base.I can also put the radio traffic receiver/charger cable in the same box. Also the small manual and papers. Perfect for my purpose.

This carrier easily holds the pieces that make up my Garmin GPS and keeps them safe when not in use. It is easy to bring with me so that, when I reach my destination, I can put my GPS away and take it inside with me (I do not leave it in a hot car for any length of time so when I reach my journey’s end, I put it away and take it inside along with my luggage).

Great case for a great price!

This case is everything I wanted to hold my Garmin and all the accessories. My boss has one that’s half this size for the same Garmin and he can’t carry all his cords & brackets together. He’s looking into getting this one. All in all a great case for a great price!Now, if they can only make one for my Echo Dot and Battery extension…..hint, hint!
