Works well, very sensitive and distinguishes radar well. I like the how it incorporates a smart phone into linking other people using this detector in showing where alerts have been detected

great product, it alerted my of a highway patrol …

great product, it alerted my of a highway patrol about 3 miles in front of me. which was more than enough time to slow down. i also like the city settings, it filters out false alarms very well. all in all it is a great product for the price. good job cobra!

Compact unit.

faulty LCD after 6 months.

LCD burnt out after 6 months , not a great item for quality, now it is totally useless.

City Max filtering. .

If you run the setting city max it cuts a lot of false signals you get from other leaky detectors and still gives you pretty good range for detections. ..

Nice but with lots of false alarms.

Nice hardware, like the hookup to the phone app, but a lot of false alarms. The only way to reduce the false alarms seems to be to turn off bands that I suspect are in use by the…

COLOR DISPLAY GONE

Bought mine, Cobra SPX 7700…. the color screen started fading out, now it’s totally gone out…. the unit still comes on and sounds like it’s working but there’s NO display….

The led screen has started to fade but still beats anything that has come out since for a simalar price.

Great Detector, Low volume if not used with BT

Works as intended, and seems to have a very decent range. The only downfall I have found on this is that the volume is very low unless it is paired through a BT radio.
