I’m using them on JayBird BlueBuds X. I love the BlueBuds but I kept pushing them back in place. I was a bit hesitant to spend that much money on replacement earphone tips, but I couldn’t stand my earphones consistently popping out of my ears.I’m glad I did. They work really well. They isolate well, are comfortable and stay in place. Some people complained they were hard to put in place on the JayBird, but I had no issue. It is a tight fit, but the Comply are slightly flexible and I was able to wiggle them without problem. You actually want a tight fit so that they stay on earphones and not in your ear when you pull them out… See attached picture.
I hate the standard sililcone tips that come with most earbuds. They are the wrong size, don’t really form to your ear, are flimsy and tend to rip if used too much. (At very least that’s been my experience over the years). When I found these tips I was blown away.By making a better seal in your ear the sound quality jumps up a ton.Rich lows, crisp highs, I’m hearing pieces of the music that I simply can’t with standard tips. Now I can’t say how a pair of these tips on a pair of $10 buds stack up against super high-end buds, but frankly, if you’re a true audiophile, are you turning to buds for that sound reproduction you need? (Maybe… I don’t know your life.)What I can say though, is that these make my listening experience in the gym a million times more pleasant.Beyond the added benefit of making the music sound better, they dampen all the nonsense garbage noise in the gym (or other environment) really well. They may not qualify as ‘noise cancelling’ but they do a hell of a good job muffling out the inane chit-chat of people wherever I go.
I’ve held off on these for a couple years because at $15-20 for 3 pairs knowing they’re going to break down vs. silicone tips that are dirt cheap and last forever it was a hard purchase to justify to myself. If you care about bass response (I mostly listen to hip hop) without drowning out the bass like the old Beats, you need these. If you care about true isolation, you need these. If you care AT ALL about audio quality and aren’t rocking the stock phone headphones, you need these. They didn’t sound amazing at first because I’m impatient and just put the tips in. Once I followed the clear directions to squish them down first and let them expand, WOW.
An absolutely wonderful product. I suggest getting a variety pack at first to gauge what size you need. I’m between the small and medium, small doesn’t seal perfectly, but medium isn’t comfortable, small is the overall better choice here. The difference this product makes in comfort from the buds and the sound quality is night and day. I have a pair of cheap (but great!) Anker Bluetooth Soundbuds Slim, and the Comply tips mean much deeper, punchier bass, clearer mid-range tones, and cripsy clean highs. In addition to sizing them for your ears, also make sure you’re getting the correct size nozzle port for your buds. There’s no lips or ridges in the nozzle connector to keep them from slipping off, so the correct size is important. Anker’s website has many bud brands and models listed, it’s a great resource to assure you have the correct size.Overall I couldn’t be happier. These foam tips do degrade, but they come in packs, but make sure you’re aware that this isn’t a one-and-done solution. Still, the sound improvements have been so profound in my case, that I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone unhappy with the sound on their nozzle-style buds.
Purchased for Powerbeats 2 wireless and the Comply 400 line fits perfectly. Bought the Isolation and Comfort series to try out. I have small ear canals and could not get the earpieces that came with the Powerbeats to fit in my ears and when they did go in, they hurt terribly. The Comply earpieces are much more comfortable and actually fit. I don’t think they improve sound quality much, except as far as providing an accurate fit improves sound. The Isolation set is more comfortable than the Comfort. Each is slightly different. The Isolation has thicker foam, which may be why it is more comfortable, as it has a thicker barrier between the ear and the plastic Powerbeats in-ear headphone. As for isolation, it works ok, and the reason for 4 stars rather than 5. It won’t block out the higher pitch of screaming kids, but it does seem to work for casual conversation as long as something is playing. Honestly, the isolation is only slightly better than the Comfort series.I am a casual user and use mainly for music around the house, so they should last long enough for me. Either way, I can’t use the pieces that came with my headphones so these are my only option, otherwise I would have to get rid of the powerbeats 2. Nice that the pieces come in a simple plastic case to keep from losing them.
These are great for about 2 weeks then they fall apart I paid 20$ for them to leave pieces of it in my ear
I can see why some people would like these foam tips and I’ve heard great things about them. They provide good sound isolation and are comfortable.
This Product is great. It cancels out the nose great. It also fits my ears great. Definitely get it if you are in the market for some.
Cheap, yes, but vastly inferior to the standard plastic/rubber ones. These lasted me 6 months before the foam had completely deteriorated and lost its elasticity.
I’ve been using Comply earphone tips for years with my Denon earbuds.Of course I want the best for almost $200 earbuds. And Comply is the best for comfort and sound.
Did not cancel noise at all.
super comfortable in the Sennheiser In-ear momentum. Last pretty long too since the Sennheisers have very thin earbuds nozzle so it doesn’t exert too much pressure and rub against…
Didnt Work for me
I love these so much! They make any in-ear headphones better. They help the bass, your headphones stay in better, and you hear less outside noise.
